Thanks to the vendors, business owners, and residents who showed up as part of our small group discussions about Art Crawls on James Street North yesterday. This is the third meeting we've held to discuss how we can improve Art Crawl for everyone. #HamOnt

I watched Bergman’s great classic THE SEVENTH SEAL @thewestdale.bsky.social in #HamOnt this past weekend. It may have been my first exposure to a foreign language film in a theatre back in the late 80s. I was blown away by the eternal questions in the movie, like how many hot dogs could Death eat?

Why is it impossible for #HamOnt to have even a single great BBQ place that isn't run by bigots or racists?

The dust is still settling in the Canadian election, but one phenomenon seems to be the nationalization of the campaign. Even more than usual, people were voting for who they want to be PM rather than who they want represent their riding. (I think this was a factor in #Hamont Centre, where I live.)

It’s still a toss up in Hamilton Centre but I’m so proud of my friend and MP Matthew Green who spoke from his heart tonight about the work we must continue to do, every day, together, starting tomorrow. I’ll be there. #HamOnt

#HamOnt Centre turns Red tonight ! Grateful to all the candidates who stepped up. I had the chance to walk and talk with Aslam—his expertise in transportation and infrastructure will be a real asset to Hamilton. Let’s get to work my friend 🇨🇦

Updated Liveblog I had to think about Hamilton Centre - this is unprecedented In my lifetime, an NDP incumbent has never lost in Ham Cent; even in the 1995 provincial election, the Ontario NDP held on The Conservatives are winning polls in Ham Centre - that's unprecedented in my lifetime #HamOnt

The collapse of the NDP vote changes everything - A decade ago the NDP held three of the five seats, tonight they can only hope to keep one.

Liveblogging on TPR The story tonight in Hamilton is the collapse of the NDP vote - unbelievable. Hamilton Mountain, over 25% of the polls reporting, the NDP vote is 12.2% with a strong candidate. Hamilton Centre, over 20% reporting, Matthew Green is 'third' but has lost a lot of polls #HamOnt

I did vote in the 2025 Canadian Federal election in the Hamilton Centre riding tonight! It take around 45 minutes and there’s a lot of people and three voting stations with eight volunteer staff members. #HamOnt #CanadaElection2025

Today's PW was good for 🚶🚶‍♀️ safety. Made my day hearing @nrindernann.bsky.social and @cameronkroetsch.bsky.social getting crosswalks added to Victoria and Wellington, so Keith Nghbrhood kids can someday 🚶 or 🚴 the 1 km to Bennetto School, rather than bus. 👏 #HamOnt www.youtube.com/live/gtf0E3-...

Today is the National Day of Mourning to honour workers killed, injured, or made ill in the workplace. I joined hundreds in Council Chambers to honour those we lost this year, including Nabil, a worker and CUPE Local 5167 member. All workers deserve to be safe. #HamOnt
