I usually don't play horror games at all because I'm terrible with them, but RE is fine because it tends to feel cozy to me. NOT COZY. THAT PART WAS DEFINITELY NOT COZY. NEVER AGAIN.

Silent Hill 2- My opinion still the greatest horror game ever made. Ico- tempted to go shadow of the colossus but this was the game that started it all. Zone of Enders Second Runner- under-rated mech masterpiece. Dark cloud 2- The sequel freaking slapped. Devil May Cry 3: - The...combat!!!

I do think that #CandelaObsucra 's system works okay for how they use it on #CriticalRole, but that unless you are building your parties and games very specifically it isn't a great system for a lot of ways that Candela groups materialize in practice. But eldritch horror games?

In general, I don't think that the #CandelaObscura _system_ works very well for how I think your average group actually _plays Candela_. I think that the Cypher system, however, would be _great_ for Candela. Conversely. I think that Candela's system would be great for call-of-cthulhu games.

Taking no crap from anyone, Heather Mason from the Silent Hill franchise has always been my favorite video game hero. Vulnerable, relatable, and funny. She's one of the best written protagonists in gaming.
It's the Goldblum! Dr. Ian Malcom is as popular as he is today because of Jeff Goldblum! his quirky manurisims, witty humor, and suave demenor made him an icon of cinema and a lasting cinematic character most of us wished we could be like.
Jenna Ortega took an icon like Wednesday and elevated her in her own way. It's really hard to choose between her and Christina Ricci's version, but both are iconic! if I ever had a daughter, I wish they'd be like this.
Andrzej Sapkowski didn't change the genre of fantasy, but he made a lasting character. Geralt of Rivia is someone I wish I could be, while also being very relatable. The dude just wants to live in a world where extremes are constantly pulling him to choose the lesser of two evils. But his good nature and willingness to help always get him into trouble.

one nice thing about the game is that he got to break away from the heavy industrial horror of silent hill and compose some really beautiful and atmospheric music instead, as well as a bunch of low-fi study beats, but that sound... off, lol
