UK recognition of Palestine as a state is welcome, if decades overdue. It does not stop this genocide though.
We need sanctions against Israel and the companies enabling it. The cost of continuing the slaughter must be made far too high for it to continue.

Recognition of Palestine is welcome, even if it's decades overdue.
But it can't be just symbolic. It must be followed by robust international action, including boycotts, divestment and sanctions, to make Palestine's statehood and security a reality.

Good. But this must only be the first step. It doesn't end Labour's complicity in the ongoing atrocities in Palestine. UK-made weapons are used, UK forces train Israel's army, and Israel's president is welcomed to Downing Street. We urgently need an end to the genocide.
