Hey now, our crash and burn was *two* years after that title. We only kinda sucked in 2011.

Question 1: Why does the MBTA mTicket app promote the Transit App instead of MBTAgo, the wayfinding app that the T presumably spent a lot of time and money developing? Question 2: Why does the MBTA want me to download separate apps for ticketing and for wayfinding?

Listen, if I can have people understand me based on the general impulse of my words rather than a single data point selected by someone with an interest in a different presentation, Iโ€™ll actually have to live life in a way that aligns with the presentation I desire. And who gets rich off of that?

Itโ€™s also noticeable that itโ€™s suggested that a biblical expert will study the historical context. Alas, if only it were always so. Far too often people consider โ€œknows what the Christian scriptures (currently) sayโ€ as expertise.

Boringly I think this should probably go to Aristotle's Politics, but if the question is about narrowly *Athenian* ideology I'd agree with @badancient.bsky.social. Funny how both authors are metics.

Production of LTP tanks for Peru began #OTD in 1938. Threatened by German annexation, the Czechoslovakian army nearly bought these tanks themselves, but the Munich Agreement made armed resistance pointless and the tanks went to their intended owners. #tanks #history

Those are the words of a man who has decided that the evidentiary requirements necessary to implicate a specific set of others is impossibly high and, even if met, will increase. It is possible that outright admission of fealty to Trump would not meet his requirements.

Trials of the 122 mm D-25 gun ended #OTD in 1943. The gun passed trials, but the muzzle brake was deformed during firing. It was replaced with a design copied from the Ferdinand. #tanks #history #WW2 #WWII

I just got an M4 Pro and it's super fast and has an unimaginable amount of storage. We prefer the Pro because someone in the house will be using it at pretty much all hours of the day. I'm sure we could get by with an Air, but the Pro just seems more robust (the previous one lasted seven years)

Orange juice is a big one; the price increases on that have been massive, even with shrinkflation on containers.

Looks like Ziploc is the latest perpetrator of shrinkflation โ€” only 34 gallon bags in their boxes now, down from 38.

I think Mike Gundy's buyout was $15 million. It's raining pretty hard today in Columbia. I sat with a homeless man for an hour or so in the church lobby, talking through different services he can get. He spent the morning panhandling so he could buy his seizure medication. Anyhow. $15 million
