100 men could defeat a gorilla. 15,000-20,000 pounds of man flesh could easily crush an 800-pound gorilla. But this would be less of a fight and more of a flesh pile. Only the men on top of the flesh pile would survive, and they'd never speak of it afterwards.

So... the law works. I do love how pissy they're being about not being able to lie about their environmental record anymore. "If you're gonna force us to stop making up environmental metrics, then we'll stop making up those metrics. Happy?"

A third of Canadian voters didn't bother voting in an election taking place while a fascist US president is threatening to annex us and one major party doesn't seem to have a big problem with that.

I've got election fever! Or a fever from the COVID booster I got this afternoon. There's no way to know. Not with current science.

I'm so pumped, let's pull an 1814 and convince the British to burn down the White House again.

"What's the best Coen Bros movie?" is the rare debate where there's literally no wrong answer. No matter what anyone says, it's the correct answer. However, the *most* correct answer is FARGO.

So The Big Lebowski is the best Coen Bros movie, right? Are we in agreeance on this?

I've been pretty down on AI, but only because I didn't realize AI could save workers nearly 4 minutes an hour in admin time. That's definitely worth the horrifying environment costs, constant scams, and unending plagiarism.

The lack of urgency with which every level of government treats the chronic housing crisis just confounds me. People are spending all of their disposable income on housing. It's so bad for the economy. And centrist politicians, who'd normally sacrifice their own mothers to the economy, just shrug.

While Bluesky was down I posted on Threads. This is what I was reduced to. Posting on the social media app for brands. I'm not a brand. I'm a human being. Except when Bluesky is down, then yeah, I'm a brand, let me into BrandCity, the decadent cyber ghost town where the brands frolic and cavort.
