i think i really needed some sweet interaction between mother and daughter and between girlies ahahah so next update will be all about that...
Before we deep into some not that great interactions... 🫠
And that's it for today! Next part we're going on a slumber partyyyy eheheh
I really missed Aria and Isa together! They always had a strong relationship and I know they both needed to share time together like that again 🤍
Of course Aria is very moved too by her daughter's words. Time may have passed, they now both have a very busy life but their bond is still as strong as ever.
They haven't talked about it much, as they've both been going through difficult times lately, but Isa is still just as impressed by her mother's tenacity and can't help but be moved by having such a role model in her life.
Once through the door, Aria is particularly excited to show her daughter her ‘baby,’ so she covers her eyes. When Isa regains her vision, she is amazed by the place: everything reminds her of her mother, her childhood and so many fond memories.
But of course, Isa has something else on her mind: she has been longing to see her mother's gallery ever since she first mentioned the project... Faced with her pleading gaze, Aria has to agree. After all, this is the daughter she raised almost single-handedly and with whom she has a strong bond.
Making pottery was everything both Isa and Aria needed that day and they enjoyed sharing that moment a lot, especially Aria who always loves doing creative and manual activities.
She didn't expect karma to strike soon after her daughter's latest comment... Nor that it would strike twice in a row! They may tease each other but being just the two of them like this make the two women really happy.
She may have given her daughter a heart attack, but at least she now has her full attention... and Isa is too used to this behaviour to say anything, especially when she sees her mother's particularly proud smile.
Isa eventually joins her, but Aria senses that her daughter is not fully present with her yet. Without hesitation, she takes a deep breath and lets out her loudest scream.
Aria knows she has to learn not to burn herself out, both as a mother and as an entrepreneur. That's why she decided to have a self-care day, this time including Isa. Isa is running late, but Aria doesn't mind; she'll be able to spend some time on her own first.
There are still a few details to sort out before the opening, so the little family spends the evening at the premises, with Luke looking after Nath while Aria puts the finishing touches to her project.
Aria still wants to open her gallery, but the closer the day gets, the more stressed she becomes, so Luke has to reassure her: people WILL like the place, it's bold, welcoming and colourful, just like her personality that everyone loves.
Now that habits have been established and Aria's mental health is gradually improving, she has resumed work on her gallery project, which is now ready to open. It's the first time Luke has been there in a long time, and he admires the effort his wife has put in.
Luke is particularly amused to find him standing at the doorstep, and when Nath seems to realise his mistake, he tries to master peek-a-boo, as if he were going to disappear completely...
When Luke finally joins Aria, he is exhausted. He expected things to get easier as Nath grew older, but it seems to be quite the opposite, while Aria seems to be getting more and more comfortable again. Obviously, Luke now has only one thing on his mind now that they are finally alone.
And since Nath seems to have decided that it's clearly not time to sleep, Aria takes over, as Magnus needs his walk. Aria and Luke had trouble finding their rythim but now, the evening choreography is well established for the couple.
When it's finally bedtime for Nath, the latter discovers with wonder the mobile that his father has installed above his crib... and decides to clap along to the music (as best he can).
But when he looks at Aria, he quickly realises that his superior's life has taken a rather unexpected turn. Luke also tries to make Tom understand that he doesn't need to be so formal every time they interact, especially since Aria seems to stiffen up every time Tom says ‘Sir.’
Once Tom had his shower, he finally takes the opportunity to catch up with Luke and also brings Felix along. Tom is surprised to learn that Luke has finally retired, given how passionate he seemed about his career.
Tom is also in the military and worked under Luke in Sulani a few years ago, long before Luke even knew about Isa. So to see Tom here is a delight, even if Luke is a bit taken aback by Tom being very formal with him.
And she was right, because Luke rushed outside. No one knows if he heard the screams or smelled the smoke, but the fact is that he just saved his neighbour's life. And what a surprise it was for the two men to discover that they knew each other.
