Useful reminder that Israel is believed to have 90 nuclear weapons. Also, Israel is not party to the nuclear non proliferation treaty, and has not accepted IAEA safeguards on some of its principle nuclear activities. But yes, only Iran is the rogue state...

Even the IAEA couldn't any longer deny Iran's general lack of co-operation and said it had enough uranium enriched to 60% purity, near weapons grade, to potentially make nine nuclear bombs. IAEA formally declared Iran in breach of its non-proliferation obligations. www.bbc.com/news/article...

They were not allowed to make the bomb. They are not in the non-proliferation treaty nor in the IAEA. They have it but they don't admit they have. Remember the general rule: Israel is allowed to do anything it wants with no consequences at all. If they throw an atomic bomb on Teheran nothing happens

Yeah, right. US will do what it thinks is in its best interest, just like any other world power. It may misinterpret “best interest”. It it will not let the UN, a non-Proliferation treaty or anything else tell it what to do. And Congress would not cut off aid.

Why say it “doesn’t have nukes” or is a “signatory to the NPT?” They’re are both bald-faced lies of ommision. Israel’s nukes aren’t going to end up in the hands of a terrorist in NYC or London. We can discuss this conflict without pretending Iran is a positive actor in the non-proliferation world
