Sometimes the difference is just how much of the pigment is in the paint. The W&N pro line should be deeper and more intense than their Cotman of the same name. You can see that here. 12/16

Yes, these were all inked with the Pentel pocket brush pen - I haven't used one in a while so I was a bit rusty but they turned out better than I thought they would.
