🍓 A jam-packed bit of history! The famous Jam Butty of Wildside fame is soon to join the @nbwakamatandoto.bsky.social family - a sweet fit as they love recycling. Brownhills Canal Festival was likely the last time we’d see her loaded with jam – so we snapped a pic. ♻️ #FloatingTraders #UKCanals
Two people sit smiling on the roof of a red and green narrowboat named The Jam Butty, moored along a leafy canal. The boat’s signage reads “handmade preserves,” and chalkboard menus on the towpath list jam-related treats. Other narrowboats and greenery line the background, creating a relaxed, summery atmosphere.

A massive thank you to our LHCRT volunteers! 💙 To the organisers, coordinators, stewards, litter pickers, loo roll replacers, stall holders — and every behind-the-scenes hero who made Brownhills Canal Festival happen — this festival doesn’t run on canal water alone — it runs on YOU. #UKCanals

Boats are arriving for Brownhills Canal Festival – with more on the way! Fewer this year? Blame the sunshine: low water levels and lock closures on #UKCanals have made some journeys tricky. Still plenty to see, do & enjoy – come join the fun! 🎉 Thanks to @alanb246.bsky.social for the pic!

Boats in red and blue sit neatly at the edge, with a few people walking nearby. A peaceful, summery morning scene ahead of the Canal Festival.
