I have tons of feelings about FFT and Matsuno's oeuvre, so I was pumped to hop on and gush (seriously, we talk about WW2 dioramas and namedrop Crimson Shroud and Dungeon Explorers)
Also I think the cover came out OK!p

For some reason I always seem to try a new style and brush when I'm on a Retronauts piece. I should probably do this when I'm not on the hook for someone else but occasionally it yields some of my best work and I think this is gonna be one of those pieces.

Sometimes I debate skipping out on shading and just doing the comic in flat colors, but then I have that one panel that reminds me of what a difference a single multiply layer and a minute of blocking can do.
