little 🌱-update my monster albobafter chopping her in half - wasnt expecting the top half to put out such a pretty leaf despite it all! + one tiny white leaf with an almost heart shaped spot of green,,, so cute

🌱-update new lux hybrid leaf comin in real nice its a bit more reddish brown irl, alrdy passed its oilslick phase but it still looks amazing :3c

anyone got experience buying ladybugs or their larvae against aphids? our entire fruit trees are overrun by black and green aphids and some are getting on my plants but i dont wanna use pesticides if i can avoid it + its so large scale also but im not sure if theyre worth getting

also my anthuriums didnt grow bc of a mold/fungal issue it seems but at least my monstera has this sick new leaf :3c

anthurium leaf drop as per usual things are growing well, jusf a few mold issues on top of the substrate bc of the lack of circulation

i think the florida ghost looks so cool with the new white leafs slowly turning green but its just such a leggy long plant i wish id had tighter nodes

baby anthurium leaves are just so cool check the color to the large green leaf that came before it - right now its this deep dark reddish brown, shiny like oil and almost blackish in some light and then it poofs up all huge and turns green how sick is that

ive since seperated out some of the floating plants that seem to be tha same species (thicker leaf longer roots?) and put them in a seperate lil bowl with my mossballs :3 it looks like a lil pond with lillypads

ignore the dirty glass but im quite happy with how its looking so far, the plants seem to do fine, some of the swimming plants are alrdy getting new leaves :3 my water isnt perfect but ill see how it changes over time when its more established

i rly like plant and aquarium maintenance actually im hoping maybe i can one day get a small job in smth like that i think that might be fun maybe even fulfilling i love taking care of mine but my space and money is limited lol
