Descriptive text on the page: Zhaikes Nazkarath, anatomy details. Four pairs of curved horns are set close to his head, with the tips jutting out at the back. Antennae, called Raks‘van, are sensory organs that can detect even the slightest tremors. Their position reflects emotions. His right eye is blind and paler than the left. A technical enhancement can temporarily compensate for the disability, producing small dots of light when active. Three knobs on his face act as anchors for his mask and can’t be removed. His left upper arm and shoulder, as well as the right side of his face, are scarred. Scales protect the sensitive skin and nerve endings beneath, and they can be slightly lifted.

Those symbols are words. Zhor Khat (his species) typically use a combination of single letters to construct words, but there are also words that have their very own symbols. Like those on his chest and the one on his wrist. . #ZhorKhat

Three digital sketches of my OC Zhaikes (species: Zhor Khat). Zhaikes is an alien with a humanoid body and four large extra limbs sprouting from his back. The extra limbs look like pointy crab legs arranged like bony wings. The sketches show them in different positions along with the body's poses. Additionally, Zhaikes has smaller, more delicate antennae on his head, that also move with his expressions. His left lower arm and hand are substituted by a prosthesis. Several digital artworks of the same alien character, Zhaikes Nazkarath. The first artwork shows Zhaikes in side view, displaying his four large, insectoid extra limbs on his back. He wears bio-armor, a kind of plating with a sharp and organic look. His head has curved horns that run along his scalp and upward behind his head and neck. He also has four antennae, two facing forward and two facing backward. The right (visible) side of his face is scarred. There are three metallic "dots" integrated into his skin, on his forehead, cheek, and bridge of his nose. The second artwork shows the purpose of the dots. They are anchor points for a one-sided mask that covers Zhaike's right eye and part of his face. In the center of the mask is a round shape that indicates his eye and glows slightly. The third and final artwork shows Zhaikes with 'his human', Lara Hollis, as she leans in and gives him a hesitant kiss. It's the only artwork that visualizes Zhaikes' softer side. While the other works show him with a stern, grumpy expression, he looks gentle and slightly overwhelmed in the last one.

Several digital sketches of the same character, Zhaikes, in various stages of exploration. The goal was to find the right shapes for his one-sided mask, which covers his right eye and part of his face. In the center of the mask is a round shape that indicates his eye. Stage 1 of the sketches shows a rough sketch of his face and mask. Stage 2 shows two more polished sketches, where his face is the same, only the shapes of the mask and eye are different. Stage 3 shows the final version. The mask partially overlaps his brow and the eye has a soft glow. I also added Zhaikes' bio-armor.

This is #Katrizs Razs, one of my many OCs and book characters. She isn't part of the main line up, but I really wanted to test her colors and show how her eyes would contrast against her skin. Most #ZhorKhat (her species) have bright eyes like hers, or at least (cont.) . #art #CharacterDesign

A drawing of a quadrupedal creature, with an additional set of limbs protruding from its chest, which are smaller and have fingers instead of paws. The creature is furless and has various small artificial elements on its body. instead of ears it has two insectoid antennas.

Ah yes!! It is! Though they can look very different, depending on the parts and the size. "Hybrid" only means that the robot is a mixture of organic and non-organic material. However, all parts must be synthetically grown (it's illegal to take them from sentient beings). (cont.)

Most of the cast wouldn't want to achieve immortality, I guess. Especially, as the #Srella are much more than a "failed civilization" to the #ZhorKhat. The Srella left behind working technology, like the "gates" that connect the galaxies, but also an immense amount of knowledge. (cont.)
