These people are called Tar'nex. They are a rather antagonistic species in my world. It doesn't mean they are the bad guys by default, but they aren't part of the Araz federation, which means encountering them is likely dangerous. . #art #TarNex #scifi #monster
Three digital sketches of an alien species, the Tar'nex. The alien has four arms and two legs. Their skin is dark, but many parts are covered with white exoskeleton. Their head is crocodile-shaped with big teeth and horns. On the back of their head are thick, wiry, black antennas.

The #TarNex are a rather antagonistic species in my world and novel. Lara meets them already in chapter 1. And with "meet" I mean she wakes up in their research facility and has to run for her life ;--;

Congratulations!! Here comes the Tar'nex. They are an intelligent species, but their appearance and animalistic behavior makes them more creature-like than they actually are. . #art #artshare #alien #creature

A pencil drawing of my alien creature, the Tar'nex, in side view. It is bend down over a little flower that is growing on stony ground. The flower glows slightly. The Tar'nex hand encompasses the stem of the flower, but it doesn't pluck it from the ground.

Pencil drawing of the same alien from a slight top down angle and 3/4 view.
Pencil drawing of the same alien, as a headshot (side-view). The creature is screaming while spit is flying from its teeth. The teeth are huge and remind of a crocodile's. On the back of its head and neck there are 4 pairs of heavy tendrils sticking into the air.

The photo of a grid board with a piece of paper clipped to it. The paper shows a drawing of a monster and a flower.
A photo of the same subject, but with a hand held next to it.

This [Tar'nex] needs their own post 🤍 Tar'nex are (one of) my original species. They live on a desert planet called [Csrenas] where two suns burn from the sky. . #TarNex #WorldOfKrim #alien #monster #art

2/2 ..endure the sizzling sunlight over short amounts of time, their eyes are adapted to extremely low light conditions - which makes them blind in daylight. The second drawing shows a protective mask to shield their eyes. . #TarNex

1/2 These guys are called [#TarNex]. I already shared a pencil drawing of them yesterday. [Tar-nex] are from the desert-planet [Csrenas]. They usually live underground as the surface of their planet is too hot to be comfortable. Although their skin (and plates) can.. . #art #WorldOfKrim #alien
A sketch of an alien creature with a bony snout, big teeth and blank, round eyes.
A sketch of the same creature, but with something like a mask over its head and eyes. Next to it is a text that says "sun protection experiments".

My dessert-people, the [#TarNex]. Fun fact: They don't stop growing throughout their lives. They grow slowly, but they live 100 of years, which results in crazy size differences. They start small & cute - like humans - & end up with to 3 or-so meters (~10 feet). . #art #WorldOfKrim #alien #monster
A drawing of a reptilian looking alien with an elongated snout and big teeth. They wear exoskeleton on the upper body and the face. On the back of their head and neck they have several thick cable-like appendages that hang down beyond their shoulders.
