Collie and Isabel are watching the fireworks and seeing the beautiful sparkles. Isabel smiles cutely after telling her, "Be my sheepdog." The Border Collie falls head over heels for the Australian Shepherd.
Well, this is a Fourth of July special, and Happy Fourth of July to my friends in the US.
Today marks the start of a very very long 5+ months of having to restrict my service dog in training's activity while she gets heartworm treatment. This will be especially difficult since she's an Australian Shepherd... wish us luck!
Reminder that noise reactivity in dogs is heavily genetic so it’s actually super crappy to smugly proclaim that your dog isn’t scared of fireworks because you’re such a gifted dog owner and other people must be lazy owners etc.

MOLLY: *looks at the name on the door with hers and hesitantly opens it* Hello?
ASH: *looks over from where he's making tea* *tilts his head* You're young. *looks down at the cups* I was expecting someone who might enjoy a cup of tea*
MOLLY: *clasps her hands in front of her

Our friend John is celebrating the 4th of July in style. I mean, does it get any better than fireworks and lemonade? It may or may not be hard. John has secrets. And those secrets are none of your business.
In all seriousness, please be kind to your pups today.
The world is a terribly hard place right now but my garden is overflowing and these besties spent the evening playing to exhaustion #Pitbull#AustralianShepherd#Waterdogs
I did write the previous breeder several times but there was no reply. So now I will search for other breeders. I even looked in the neighborhood breeders and found more Australian Shepherds but no Eskies. Still keeping my eye out. Ray Ray gave me no information.
