Today marks 10 years since Satoru Iwata passed away tragically from cancer.
I will always hold a special place in my heart for this man who gave so much to all of us. A wonderful human who knew he was a gamer first and foremost above being Nintendo CEO.
May he continue to Rest In Peace.

July 11 2003, Kirby Air Ride debuted on the GameCube in Japan!
Though this Masahiro Sakurai directed game released on the GameCube, it was in development and shown as far back as 1995 on the Nintendo 64 (all the photos above)
Various Nintendo-core reasons pushed the game back almost 10 years!
