the grant process held us up & we missed out on the most ideal location for a new bookstore; that gutted me. the guy spearheading our co-op had been working on this plan for 4 yrs, but our grant agency (tho supposedly impartial) was very shortsighted to our efforts. & now we appear done w/ it all.

thanks, but it's more wishful thinking right now than an actuality... i am part of a co-op trying to open a new bookstore, but our relationship with our grant funding appears to have fizzled out, so i think that dream is done for now. we'd need $75,000 (minimum) to start w/ for a brick-n-mortar.
