JUST IN: Judge Lamberth has *blocked* a new wave of terminations at Voice of America, offering harsh words for Kari Lake and saying the Trump administration’s conduct in his case would support civil contempt proceedings, if only the plaintiffs had asked. storage.courtlistener.com….

DOJ’s attempts to charge these cases in DC and LA have been resoundingly unsuccessful. Grand juries have rejected a huge proportion of the attempts to indict. One case in LA that went to trial as a misdemeanor recently ended in acquittal

It's not just bribery. He's now using personal litigation, backed by state extortion, to extract "settlements" which he then puts into an account he created to spend on government work, all entirely outside of Congress taxing or appropriating. It's full Charles I illegal taxation and spending.

BREAKING YouTube has agreed to pay $24.5 million to settle the lawsuit brought by President Trump against the company for suspending his account. Most of the funds will go towards the fund the president setup for the White House ballroom. Full Story: on.wsj.com/46IT4P1

Rowling loves censorship by litigation, and she's an obsessive hater, but neither of those are all that unusual. What's uniquely psychotic is this attitude she owns people for life because they played a role in movies based on her books 20+ years ago. Emma Watson is not actually Hermione Granger!

Harry Potter creator J.K. Rowling has hit out at Emma Watson in a lengthy statement on X, saying: “She has so little experience of real life she’s ignorant of how ignorant she is.”

YouTube’s $24.5MM bribe goes to the ballroom and… Naomi Wolf 💀 Death recorded lol. I quietly cancelled my subscription after that stupid letter last week kowtowing to Jim Jordan and it feels great now. www.nytimes.com/2025/09/2….
The vast majority of YouTube's settlement payment - $22 million - will go to Mr.
Trump, according to the filing in U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California.
He has directed that the money be contributed to the Trust for the National Mall and to the construction of a ballroom at the White House.
The remaining $2.5 million will be distributed among other plaintiffs in the case, including the writer Naomi Wolf and the American Conservative Union.

Incredible. They once again wrote a brief that simply pretends that Lynch v. Clarke, the first major case on birthright citizenship, just simply does not exist. It gets not a single mention or acknowledgment.

Trump's petition asking the Supreme Court to let him officially redefine (read: rescind) birthright citizenship is now available and I wish I did not have to worry about the Supreme Court taking seriously such obviously, egregiously unserious & racist bullshit www.supremecourt.gov/DocketPDF/25...

Future historians will understand that the key factor in the slide to authoritarianism was the total collapse of the GOP as a pro-democracy party, & the total failure of its not-actually "moderate" & "pro-democracy" rump minority to ally with Democrats & put an end to fascism. But sure, Murc's Law.

notably most people who have a lot of expertise in the AI side of this are quiet in public because they might be sued or called as witnesses in relevant cases

for almost all copyrighted works, there is no public registry of whom you must ask permission.

This is the most pointless virtue signalling I’ve seen in a hot minute. This is a law that would do absolutely nothing. It’s already well-established that provinces aren’t forced to implement treaties that fall under provincial jurisdiction. This is pure posturing. What a waste of time.

Has this person never read a poll or followed a state level election? Over 60% of Americans support abortion being legal in most cases & abortion has won every. Single. Time. Its been on the ballot in the last 5 yrs. Its MORE popular than the Dem party & has won where Dem politicians have lost races

Pro abortion politics are very popular. Every time a man says Dems should compromise on abortion to win votes they’re exposing their misogyny. There’s literally no other reason to suggest the compromise

It's finally driving me nuts: Lindsey Halligan is a *tort lawyer*, who insurance companies hired to defend lawsuits. She had never been an *insurance lawyer*. She could not hack it as an insurance lawyer.
