Reposting these because I have new art to post later. A GW2 AU where Herman is a Sylvari engineer (Commander) and Jacky is a wartime messenger with an asura-tech tail. The inquest opted her into it without asking. I break GW2's lore where it suits me because none of this matters. #OCs
Herman is often serious, sad or busy in this AU but I love the idea of him having days where the carnival extrovert he COULD be shines through. If only the world wasn't constantly ending. And if he got a day off. Sylvari in the game are a race of plant people. They're pretty human shaped but have plant features, like leaves or growths for hair. Their skin has a pretty fleshy silhouette but imagine compressed cabbage or an artichoke before you peel it. But full of organs probably. I'm failing this description. Herman wears goggles that are a little bit sunglasses shaped. He's green with orange hair. In these sketches he's made a gadget for himself that looks like an amorphous rainbow tether. He's using it to hold his coffee while he talks to Jacky.
GW2 story is rife with world-ending problems. These two don't get much time to flirt or try. It's still obvious they want to. Herman loans Jacky his skyscale to do some research and supply gathering because she's generally good at it. It's a big list of stuff to do. Someone off screen volunteers him to help her. I'm sorry I didn't do a break down of the dialogue, I can't actually see it in the preview box.
Herman visits Jacky in the hospital but falls asleep on the edge of her bed. She rolls him off (it's not easy) and rests on the floor with him.
Various sketches of the two together. There's a couple where Herman is carrying her around holding her mouth shut. I don't remember what I was thinking. It looks like he's awkwardly kidnapping her, or she wanted to yell at someone and he's not letting her. There's another where she's picking at the leaves on his shoulder because they're ruffled. "You get a little scruffy when you're tired."

Herman (dragon) is a thing I do for fun and the focus of many doodles that aren't necessarily related. He comes in a variety of forms. Most often fleshy- but sometimes yarn. A canon-comic version would probably happen in Faerie as a result of a 'curse', but I make no promises I'll do that. #OCs

Herman is sentient yarn. He was gifted a magical puppet to pass as human. It's indistinguishable from flesh and blood. He wears it like a skin and can feel the world through it. He loves people and he loves watching them figure out what he is-- when it wouldn't break their world view. #OCs
Herman is a tall red headed man, early twenties. He also happens to be sentient yarn piloting a magical puppet. He uses his yarn like a third arm (or ten). It exits the puppet at seams that are virtually unsee-able. The puppet is indistinguishable from a flesh and blood human. It breathes, is warm, etc. He doesn't mind being himself, but he doesn't (fully) leave his puppet much. Any length of his yarn can see, hear and speak. He doesn't talk to himself, though. He's just a big muscle. He's strong, and if you tried to cut him with scissors you'd probably just break the scissors. he has a sense of touch, hot and cold, but doesn't feel pain the same way people do. Remove biological needs and he's otherwise human. He still has emotional needs. He's also a huge flirt.

He can disassemble his puppet at the scenes- such as taking off his head -but he'd prefer not to. He likes his human illusion and when people see that it's hard for them to unseen it. He often wears himself as a scarf.

Scenwulf is a faerie prince who is in a constant spat with his brothers over the throne they can't inherit. Their father went away and hasn't returned, but left a stone effigy to rule in his place. They're stuck with it. All of the brothers can be reverted to a small wooden fetish form. #OCs
A golden werewolf shaped monster in a white robe with stitched on plant stalks. His tongue splits three ways and has six prongs on its ends.
Scen sits on his throne and makes threatening remarks, but he doesn't look serious. "I could still eat you. I'm the eldest. I can do what I want."
Scen's fetish form. A small wooden wolf on all fours. It has crazy eyes. There's a small bowl of bones beside it, and I'm not sure what I drew under the bones. It looks like caviar?

I haven't settled on a name for this guy yet. He's a Blue Bread (retired?) and is probably a lore keeper of some kind. #OCs
A gray tabby anthro who is standing comfortably on all fours. He's missing an arm and wears a patch over his eye on the same side. The patch has an eye drawn onto it. He wears a dull green sleeveless shirt, golden sash and black pants. There's a metal token shaped like a sitting cat looped to his belt.

Thema's OC Bran. Bran is(?) a mercenary but we restarted our roleplay a little while ago and he hasn't shown up yet. Changes pending, maybe. Jacky found him punchable in a good way. #ThemasOCs #OCs
An elf (possibly half human?) with orange eyes. One eye is always shut. He has somewhat dark skin and dark brown hair that's just long enough to scrape back into a ponytail. He frowns a lot when I draw him.

Atli is another new OC. I don't know where I'm going with him yet. At the time I was buying dice from a cat. The cat would roll a dice and I'd get whatever was in the corresponding box. He's a sum of parts from the numbers rolled. It was fun but I haven't tightened up the themes yet, Lol #OCs
