Pokopia's so quickly become my favorite time waster so i need to ramble
Even having played DQ Builders 2, it's not often I feel so motivated to just be creative in a game without any extrinsic rewards-- I just wanna look at builds people are making and chip away at my own plans for the fun of it
Ok but like what are the odds of a R/S/E release in addition to Fire Red/Leaf Green
I hate that i start going all Pepe-Silvia like "Oh Pokemon Gale of Darkness must mean Pokemon Colosseum which means Jirachi Disc which means--"
Expectations are the mind killer, Purp. It's TPC, Purp.
Just finished the Zelda Oracle games-- Capcom really knows how to Zelda, whaow
I went from Seasons > Ages, definitely feel like Seasons was more fun mechanically but Ages definitely had way more story stuff going on to enjoy. The art's super impressive at points for GB era.
Okay but how does writing make the time go by so quickly though
Opening my notes app in bed is a MISTAKE, jot down that late-night comic script idea and oops, one less hour for sleeping 😩
Finished Ocarina of Time for the first time, thas a good video game right there
I'm torn between adoring the temples and despising the overworld walkathons to get around, but the best thing I can say is it has me immediately wanting to play the other zeldas to compare
Wrapping up Legends ZA's base game and it's better than I thought? The Legends games are definitely my favorite console entries so far, like it gives the designers the space they need to make re-make the experience from the ground up, but still... wtf even is 3D pokemon man.
TW: Pokemon rambling
AC New Horizons ramble since I've dusted off the switch for that January update
Some of it's still fun to do years later but the 'nook miles' achievements show just how out of the loop these designers were
Craft 3000 pieces of furniture what do you meeeean i've only made 1000 after like 800 hours
Animators, whats the best software option for some really simple storyboarding? something that lets you add an audio track, layers for individual elements, and some simple tweening/maybe a curve editor for timing?
