The worms crawl in, the worms crawl out, in your watchlist and out your plot. Like this year's Descendent, also produced by Benson & Morehead, I went in with fingers crossed yet weary. Because we had trouble trope boxes pre-ticked: found footage, evil church, Mysterious Runes! (why is at always runes?), and a remote Texan location without the slightest Texan twang. As if an Austin suburb adopted Dead Dog Junction by the look of these polished creamy white folk. I will suspend belief by a monstrous unsterile bloody meathook for the right artifice & the right personnel, so I tried. I really

25 minutes agoI saw "Lost in Translation" when I was 14, and it basically kickstarted my love for cinema, for Shoegaze, and shaped my taste in culture in general. I haven't seen it in 15 years, and it's on Criterion channel now, and I'm absolutely terrified to watch it.
