Okay but it *is* "soon to be a major motion picture" ... according to a graphic in the Google Books overview.

You know trend that goes “if I won the lottery I wouldn’t tell anyone but there would be signs?” That’d be me with Criterion Collection. But I don’t own any new DVDs (I have old ones from 90s-00s real time) and I have zero Blu-ray (unloaded whole collection + PS2 in the aughts; wish I didn’t).
NGL question reads: “Best recent Bluray or DVD with outstanding extras/ commentary?”

Poster for Jack Frost. Art of a blue background with a halftone dot pattern, leafless trees, title at the top in large snow covered letters, art of a menacing snowman with sharp teeth, scarf, holding a bloody knife standing in the snow next to a buried skull.

As ever, always read Cynthia Littleton, who has a great peek at what the WBD board was thinking when it picked Netflix. And yes, they did think about AOL Time Warner-- and, if you read between the lines I think, the possiblity of an AI bubble bursting in a few years. variety.com/2025/film/co...
