Fascinante I Saw the TV Glow. letterboxd.com/film/i-saw-t... Me encantan las historias de adolescentes que crecen alienados del suburbio y se agarran a la contracultura para sobrevivir.

Effortlessly charismatic. I just watched Swan Song a week or so ago, and for someone usually known for playing deadly serious and terrifying villains, it's one of the funniest performances I've seen in years. Udo Kier is a huge loss to cinema. #Filmsky 📽️
A white man in his late 70s, travelling along a road in an electric wheelchair. He's wearing a pale green sleeveless pantsuit over a white shirt, and a purple hat. One hand is raised, holding a cigarette. There is a huge line of traffic behind him.

I quite enjoyed this new documentary on Guillermo del Toro (Sangre del Toro). I feel like I learned some stuff about him, and it's interesting to see how his collection ties into his films. It's making me want to revisit his filmography, especially his early films. letterboxd.com/jeansnow/fil...

RIP Udo Kier. One of those actors I always thought improved a film. Ridiculously photogenic, look at those eyes! www.theguardian.com/film/….

One year after Jon M. Chu’s “Wicked,” its sequel has enchanted U.S. moviegoers with the second-biggest opening weekend of 2025. While the critical reception of “For Good” was mixed, audiences were still pining for the Land of Oz.

If you love beautiful photography in cinema, watch La Cienega (2001) by Lucrecia Martel. It is currently screening on #Criterion I was floored when I saw Hugo Colace's close ups and Martel's careful color work. And the story is good. So good.
