the funny thing about attending an online talk on "writing queer characters in speculative fiction" as a queer author who writes almost exclusively queer characters is that i'm very obviously not the target audience lol which, ya know, it's cool, the hets should totally get their education 😆

i've been thinking a lot about my writing and writing fic in gen and even tho i'll probably continue to write BTS fic bc i've done it for 7y and the characters feel like home, the lack of engagement makes it hard to want to put a lot of time into it. it's sad to feel this way but it is what it is 😮💨
