By the way, Queens Drive was closed to vehicles this morning. anyone know why or if it's continuing? Weekend closures don't normally extend into the night or early morning.

The route closed Sunday from 2.30 till 3.30. Riders will not go through tunnel but up onto park road at eastern end.

The construction encampment on Abbey Lane is finally starting to be cleared up - the section of constricted footway with no space on the road for cycles is now much shorter, though still narrow and there are still flatbeds and dumptrucks occasionally whooshing around the top section. #EdTravCyc

Take care around Leith Links, Salamander Street and The Shore area. Some sort of incident has closed Salamander Street/Elbe Street and, with the (motor) traffic near gridlock, there's some dodgy driving going on. Lot of big wagons on narrow streets too.

The canal towpath is currently closed at Harrison Park for a few days while a dangerous tree is removed
Unfortunately, the alternative route uses the steps linking the towpath to Harrison Park East rather than the accessible path just beyond (dismount required 😡)

Holyrood Park High Road and its pavement now closed past Dunsapie Loch into next week. HES have organised geotechnical engineering rock face inspections next week to check for fire damage. The path is likely to remain closed until the risk of rockfall can be ascertained #EdTravCyc
