NoteāOne interesting effect making this Sound The Way it does is not only is this pre-Tim Alexander, it's pre-ANY DRUMMER, it's literally Claypool, LaLonde and a LinnDrum. It's interesting to think that the specific rhythms a drum machine forces could change the entire genre of this pair toward funk

When I say "hyper-rare" what I mean is "they made four of these. Ever". They invented a programming language, a Forth derivative, just for itā this was one of the earliest digitally-controlled synths, so I guess they thought in the future every synth would have a Forth backend for digital "rewiring"
