watching star trek the next generation S7E21 "firstborn" and it is really crazy to think about how there were two concurrent star trek series running at the same time that were immensely quality on their own. so fun seeing quark in TNG. television will never be like this again

"Parturition" finally and mercifully puts one of my least favorite #StarTrek threads to bed, and in the process instantly matures both Paris and Neelix's characters. There are charming practical effects and the pair of lead performances work nicely to sell the drama.

Star Trek does have some pretty cool ships. I have the Defiant, Enterprise NCC1701-D, the shuttle craft with Spock's voice from NCC1701, a Romulan warbird, a Vulcan cruiser, and Voyager as ornaments that were gifted to me. I'm still missing a Klingon Bird of Prey.
