Re #StarfleetEnema from #Hellison, destroyer of #CBS & #Paramount: #Roddenberry's #StarTrek universe embraced diversity & integration. Gene's vision was pro-DEI, not a black hole of Musks & Trumps. The #StarTrek90210 poster is an abomination not an Obama-nation. (FWIW, Gene was bisexual per Majel.)

This! There SHOULD be different flavours of Trek for different tastes. The huggy soap stuff isn't for me, but that's fine, I'm well served elsewhere.
I'm still hoping for a proper Section 31 series someday, about conflicted spies who must betray their utopian ideals in order to defend utopia...

There have been 12 or 13 Star Trek shows over the course of, what?... almost 60 years?... and the fact that one or two of them have tried to target a slightly different audience than the first few of them did is WHY YOU HAVE A FRANCHISE THAT HAS LASTED ALMOST 60 YEARS, PEOPLE!!!
