I love Star Trek. I love Star Wars. The idea you need to chose between the two is stupid. One can enjoy both burgers and pizza without needing to pick a favorite. Only what you are in the mood for at the time.

LD S5E4, “A Farewell to Farms”: Mariner and Boimler want to help Ma’ah get a new command. This is the first time we've ever seen Klingon farmers, and you know I'm always here for Klingons doing something other than warrioring. Turns out gagh and bloodwine are made from the same worms! Who knew?

I think part of it is that people have accepted that their can be truly bad Trek given half of it is bad at any given time. But bad Star Wars is ultimately soles to me. You have DS9 but you also have to deal with the various Wesley Crusher broke the prime directive because he saw a girl episodes.

To be fair there’s also just way more Star Trek out there than there is Star Wars.

Like, there's a lot of really mediocre/questionable Star Trek out there, but there's much less truly bad Trek than there is bad Star Wars since Disney took over
