"Have you heard the tale of Captain DeMorgan? Gather β€˜round and learn of her journey… of how all that she saw was never enough." A preview of the one-shot I wrote (!!!) and colored for @limitbreakcomics.bsky.social's WISH UPON A STAR anthology! Art by the amazing @pablomcollar.bsky.social! βœ¨πŸš€
A comic page with HAPPINESS AT THE END OF THE WORLD written at the top. The first panel, which takes up most of the pages, shows a spaceship in gold and white approaching an asteroid, dust moving away from where it's landing. The 2nd panel, at the bottom, shows the main character inside the ship, a woman with brown hair, illuminated by the blue light of the ship's controls.

The exterior of Hawkins High School, where Max and Lucas are talking, before Max walks away.

As I'm catching up with posting my work here on Bluesky, here are some pages from Stranger Things and Dungeons & Dragons: The Rise of Hellfire #2! Written by @jodyhouser.bsky.social & @16biteric.bsky.social Art by Diego Galindo Letters by @blambot.bsky.social Published by @darkhorse.com
A mixture of fantasy and flashback scenes. In the fantasy panels, the group is exploring a dark cave, holding torches, and they find both a magical mace, and a chimera waiting for them.
Another mixture of flashback and in-game scenes. The group fights the chimera, while outside of the game the players focus on the battle.
Eddie Munson speaks with three of the younger kids from Stranger Things, Mike, Dustin, and Lucas, in the school's cafeteria.
A series of panel depicting different scenes: Eddie Munson playing with his band in a garage, his group playing Dungeon and Dragons, his band walking down the street, a drawing of a DnD group, and then just Eddie himself.

With the final issue of Stranger Things and Dungeons & Dragons: The Rise of Hellfire out this week, it's about time I share some pages here, like these from #1! Written by @jodyhouser.bsky.social & @16biteric.bsky.social Art by Diego Galindo Letters by @blambot.bsky.social Publisher @darkhorse.com
Establishing shot of a high school, with students outside. Eddie Munson, the main character, walks into the school, looking cool.
Eddie Munson greets his group of friends in a high school corridor.
A flash back: Eddie is younger here, and is cycling with a friend to the house where they'll start playing Dungeons and Dragons in.
Flashback scenes from in-game, with fantasy characters (goblins facing an orc while the village around them burns), and outside of the game, with the players at the table.

Some pages from the FCBD issue of Critical Role: The Mighty Nein Origins! Written by @sammaggs.bsky.social Art by @leoncino.bsky.social Letters by @airy.bsky.social Published by @darkhorse.com @criticalrole.bsky.social
Two characters (Caleb and Beau) are walking in a dry a desert like city, with a yellow sky behind them, dust on the ground. They walk into a building with the name "A Taste of Tal'dorei".
Inside the building it looks like a typical medieval tavern. The two characters are led to a table and sit there. They look skeptical.
Caleb and Beau are leaving the tavern at the same time that another group - Bell's Hells - enters the building.

A sneak peek at the one-shot I colored for Star Wars: The High Republic Adventures Phase III Annual! Written by @crashwong.bsky.social Art by @lianakangas.com Letters by @comicraft1992.bsky.social Published by @darkhorse.com
The main character, Driggit, sits on a rooftop overlooking a cityscape awash in blueish lights. Someone sneaks up behind her.
It's her friend, Emelsine Tarkin! They speak throughout several panels, against a starry background, and hatch a plan.
They're caught by Nihil pirates, and Emelsine escapes. This page shows them pursuing her through the city.
Driggit and Emelsine sit at a table, in a cozy room, with Emelsine's grandmother, who's serving them tea.

Some pages from the first three issues of Critical Role: Vox Machina Origins Volume IV! Written by @jodyhouser.bsky.social Art by @paragonraptors.bsky.social Letters by @airy.bsky.social Published by @darkhorse.com @criticalrole.bsky.social
Page from issue 1 - it shows part of the group Vox Machina going down some dark stairs, with one of the characters, Keyleth, illuminating the way with a flame on her hand. She extinguishes the light when they get to the basement, where they find two fiends with a prisoner, the room bathed in greenish light.
Page from issue 2 where the group, Vox Machina, enters an underground cave filled with bioluminescent mushrooms and floating spheres in tones of blue, pink, and gold.
Page from issue 3: the characters are surprised by an insectoid creature on the ceiling of a tunnel, in reddish tones, with yellow eyes, surrounded by eggs on the ceiling and the walls of the tunnel.
Page from issue 3, where the group is telling a hag about how their adventure into the underground ruins ended. There are three panels of Vox Machina back at the hag's house, where she's boiling some sort of concoction with a faint green light. The main panel shows the party in the middle of a fire, defeating the insectoid creature, casting spells, chaos everywhere.

Today Star Wars: The High Republic Adventures Phase III #17 comes out, which means that the variant cover that I colored (by the amazing @rin237.bsky.social) is out! (Written by @djolder.bsky.social, art by Harvey Tolibao, int colors by Michael Atiyeh, letters by Comiccraft, pub by @darkhorse.com)
The cover is illustrated in an art nouveau style, with one of the characters at the center, in profile holding a lightsaber, and with the portraits of other characters behind him, in a circle. There are also ships and a cityscape in a background, in a limited palette of blues. The rest of the cover is mostly in browns, beiges, blues, and the occasional green, and pink.

Dark Horse posted some preview pages over on Twitter, so I think I can share them here as well! 😏 #Comics #LegendOfKorra

First page of the graphic novel. One of the main characters, Mako, is being teased by his colleagues inside the police station where they work.
Another page of the graphic novel, where the teasing continues.
Another page of the graphic novel. Here Mako jumps over a desk to go take care of a new case, and finds a trio of children talking to the secretary at the police station.

A trio of variant covers for Blade Runner: Tokyo Nexus that I got to color! Thank you to Andy Belanger for inviting me to collab - these were so much fun to color! (I do love blues and purples, why do you ask?) #Comics #ComicArt #Colorist #BladeRunner
The first cover for Blade Runner: Tokyo Nexus shows the two main characters, a man and a woman, in the background, pursuing someone who's in the foreground, running away and holding a gun. It's raining. The main female character holds a katana. The cover is mostly in tones of blue and neons, with some splashes of pink.
The two main characters are walking towards the "viewer" in this cover. It's raining and there are ads in the buildings around them, in white, blue, and pink neon lights. The female main character has a katana. Behind the two main characters there are two flying cards flying towards them, with bright yellow lights. The background is mostly in tones of blue.
The main female character is the prominent figure in this cover, striking a pose with her katana. The male character stands behind her with a gun in his hands. The background is a cityscape in tones of blue, and with ads with neon white, pink, and blue lights.

A few years ago I edited and designed a #DnD zine with pre-made NPC sheets, and art by some amazing artists! I thought I'd share some of the characters I illustrated that I'm still quite proud of.
A tabaxi (cat) character leaning against a wall. They're called "A Little Fall of Rain" and look like a siamese cat. They're wearing pirate-y clothes, like a long green jacket with golden accents, flow-y maroon trousers, and are wielding a rapier.
A noble looking character named Amako Nagata. She's wearing a long dress with several semi-transparent layers of chiffon. The dress has a gradient from beige to pastel violet, and spots of gold glitter here and there. Her black hair is made up with gold and red jewellery.
An Archfey named Ephemera. They're floating, and their long hair waves and mixes with their white, flow-y clothes. The hair is painted with galaxy tones and colors. They're wearing a golden, expressionless golden mask, with some flowers and more golden jewellery.
A tiefling character nammed Treble. They look like a roguish type - they're wearing practical clothes in tones of grey, with some golden accents, and a red swash at their waist. Their skin is an aqua tone, and they're throwing a dagger in the air. They have a weasel pet that is holding some golden coins.

A page from SCARLET WITCH #1 (by the amazing Sara Pichelli) that I colored just for fun! Wanted to try a cozy look for the Emporium ✨ 🎨 #comics
Comic page from the comic Scarlet Witch #1, by Marvel Comics. In the first two panels it shows the exterior of a shop called "Emporium", with a warm sunset tone. Then it shows the interior of the shop, its walls covered in bookshelves, warm orange light filtering in. Then our two main characters of the page - Darcy Lewis taking care of the counter, Wanda Maximoff coming down the stairs, changing from her Scarlet Witch costume to a blue dress, and then both of them talking.

I have a complicated relationship with my illustration work - lots of ups and downs (mostly downs) - but I was going through my past work and turns out I really like this Secret Santa I did for @oliviahintz.bsky.social a couple of years ago! It's her DnD character, Coriolis! 🎨
Illustration of a Dungeons and Dragons character. They're in profile, they have blue sky and pointy ears, with white hair, a simple dark blue cloak, and golden jewellery and accents here and there. The background is a golden diamond with two branches with small flowers to each side of the character.
