One Year at a Time a #comic I made about my hometown 🎨 #comics #webcomic
the first page of the comic. Panel one: a character in an orange hooded jacket walks down the beach to the water. Dialogue: One day, Panel two: This panel is focused on the characters' legs and feet as they reach the water's edge and start to turn around. Panel three: you see the town the character is turning to face as the character on the far left of the comic turns. Dialogue: our town Panel four: a huge wave is behind the main character as we see them from a distance. Dialogue: will sink into the ocean.
page 2. this page is all one image of a personified version of the ocean, the waves that are her hair swirling around her as you see trash fall into the water. the papers that fall down from the top showing an oil tanker spilling, factories pumping out smoke, and a manatee that was hit by a boat. Dialogue: Payment for the debts of others, she's come to collect.

A vertical comic page from the fan comic of Steven Universe, Blue AU-niverse showcasing a fan fusion of Jasper and Spinel, Carnelian, getting punched into a cliffside by the AU version of Garnet. Moments after Garnet realizes her leg has been grabbed by Carnelian's 3rd arm, making Garnet slingshot after Carnelian. Rainbow Quartz see's what is about to happen and calls out to Garnet, as she gets yoinked to a waiting Carnelian.
A continuation from the last page. Now showing in silhouette Garnet getting punched before spoofing. afterwards a long shot of Ruby and Sapphire's gems falling as Rainbow Quartz runs towards them, before turning pink. We then get a distant shot of the crystal temple from the show and the next shot a huge burst of pink energy shoots out.

A webcomic page with no dialogue. Alex the cat-eared girl is seen tossing and turning in her sleep. For a large portion of the page, we see her curled up in a fetal position while she sleeps, and disorienting shards of an abstract dream are visible in the background behind her. In one piece, Alex is standing with someone in a uniform that matches her own, and Alex seems to be in awe of something. In another, a young man is being assaulted by thin strings of electricity. In a third piece, Alex is standing under a spotlight, looking cowed as we see the back of stranger's heads in the foreground. They appear to be judging her in some way. In the final three dream piece panels, a banner appears to be changing its text. One says 'Safe travels, Alex!', a second says 'It's not safe', and a third appears to say 'You're not sa-' but is visually cut off at the end. From there, the dream drips off the bottom of the page like ink.
A second Kattabolt page with no dialogue. Alex's dream has taken a darker turn, as all color seems to have drained from the page except for red. The ink bleed from the previous page drips down and becomes blood as it spatters on the ground. Alex is staring at it in what seems to be shock.
