40k subscribers and counting, that’s just on YouTube. If you are not listening, you are missing out. Even with Zach Lowe being back and free of ESPN rules, this is still my favorite NBA centric podcast. If podcasts are your thing, you gotta try it.

The Offseason Preview series continues with... The Minnesota Timberwolves! Enormous summer forthcoming, with big decisions on Julius Randle, Naz Reid, NAW, and two important draft picks. youtu.be/5H72S5H18es

I’d play without a real small forward and take two from the shooting guard pool because DeJuan Blair is not negotiable

AD would have to play center. And while the Mavs can offer the 1 pick, the Spurs can offer the 2, 14 and future picks. A team with Wemby and Giannis is downright scary.

Look at this list and then look at the teams setup with a young superstar or one in his prime. The Bucks have a guy but no team around him. Spurs, Lakers and Mavs have really young superstars or budding players. Celtics and Nuggets have win-now pieces.

In the last 20 years, NBA titles are as follows: Warriors: 4 Spurs: 3 Lakers: 3 Heat: 3 Celtics: 2 Mavericks: 1 Cavs: 1 Raptors: 1 Bucks: 1 Nuggets: 1 Don’t forget to take a 10,000 foot view every once in a while as to who the preeminent franchises are.

Two lottery picks over KD? Yeah, that's way better. Or, take a lottery pick for Devin Booker. šŸ¤·šŸ»ā€ā™‚ļø

One dark-horse trade candidate for Portland - Jaren Jackson Jr. If Memphis has concerns about giving JJJ a max contract extension, I could see them entertaining trade offers. Would add a floor spacing big for Portland on offense and fits the defensive identity they're trying to big.

Like right now is Chet or Jalen williams going to be a hall of famer? Not in my eyes. Are they of the level of a Scottie, D Wade, Manu or Tony? Maybe I’m bias but I don’t think those guys are they yet

george karl was the same way. He's considered a joke now If Thibs has a guy on that bench that can create their own shot, I have never seen him play. Its nice that Kat can shoot 3s but it would be more effective if he abused smaller players on the block instead of trying to be a guard.

I’ll take Wemby, Gobert, Daniels, Mobley, Caruso and Williams as great defenders. Bam isn’t in their league.

Ish Smith two years ago with Denver. Also Eric Maynor played in the Finals BEFORE he went to the Sixers. Both James Anderson and Dewayne Dedmon started seasons on teams which made the finals but both were traded midseason.

Is TJ McConnell the first Process Sixer to make the NBA Finals?

Free idea: NBA should have a Chris Paul Award of untimely three-pointers made

Let the record show the last NBA points called on TNT Sports was a 3-pointer by Landry Shamet.

And I don’t think that’s worth it because making that move in all likelihood means you would have to move off Fox or castle in 2 years. Not to mention, that’s even if you can keep castle in the Giannis trade.

Because his uncle wanted to make sure the Cali team that he went to gave him the max plus whatever other under the table stuff he wanted. Tony said what he said which was true. Pop didn’t care for being held hostage by a player and voiced his displeasure and that was it. Goodbye Kawhi.

And as far as the whole kawhi fallout goes let’s get it straight once and for all. Kawhi was up for his extension and his uncle wanted to be treated like a team executive. Kawhis quad was giving him problems and his uncle told him to sit out even though he was cleared by the Spurs team doctors

I would do it if say Spurs were stuck as a 2 or 3 seed and kept getting bounced in WCF by OKC for two or three seasons….but this team isn’t that right now.

LaMarcus Aldridge’s 2018 All-NBA season where he carried the Kawhi-less Spurs to the playoffs made me really think about Iverson’s peak. There’s value in a guy who doesn’t need many resources around him to make defensive lineups viable.

He’s not 2003 Tim Duncan. There’s no shame in that.

Peak Dr. J was with the Squires and then the Nets in the ABA. The 76 ABA finals featuring him and David Robinson were the antithesis of what was going on in the NBA at the time. Average game score in the ABA series: 117 - 115; NBA series: 104 - 100.

Yeah. I have been saying that since his price may never be lower, I'd take a chance on him if I'm the Spurs. If he gets right, imagine him and Wemby. Now, 😬
