so if i understand the current nba trade landscape, the spurs are going to trade for Giannis Antetokounmpo, Kevin Durant and Jaylen Brown and the Rockets are also going to trade for Giannis Antetokounmpo and Kevin Durant and maybe also Jaylen Brown

So overall: - Fantastic season for Amen where he took a big leap forwards in level. - Very little to improve defensively! - Great cutter, although might need more variety - Shooting needs work but is slowly improving. - Being a fast learner is super cool and impressive to see on the court.

Amen has taken a big step forward this year in terms of his fit offensively and that's a major part of his ascension to the starting lineup. He still doesn't shoot much, but he has got a lot better at compensating for that with smart cutting and passing.

Obviously the big thing is the defense. All year he was going toe-to-toe with some of the best in the game and more than holding his own. Udoka's strategy was to put Brooks on the more physical guys and Amen on the quicker ones, and it paid off all year.

I agree. Did you listen to his interview with KOC? He is sharp. He likens himself to Jalen Williams. If he ends up even being 75% of JDubb that is a huge hit.

Kind of where I am at. I feel like we could move on from Brooks or Jabari, but I really would like to keep one of those guys out of the deal for such an older player even if it is KD. I do realize we have to match salary somehow though.

PHX would not do it for Jalen. So no deal.

Then no deal. PHX doesn’t need Jalen with Booker.

Rockets not trading FVV. And PHX would not want him either. Would want Jabari. So, this would be no deal.

Agreed. Taking what the defense gives you only works if you force it to give you something it doesn't want first! Reed didn't seem to be able to generate any help or rotation when he was on the ball, and part of that was giving up a bit quick and shifting the ball without trying anything.

Let's start with that passivity. I like to think I have low expectations for NBA rookies. The NBA is a big step up and there's a lot to learn. But to get good, you need reps. Players need to have a go at the things they need to get good at on the court to improve. I didn't see that from Reed.

I'll take it, if you add those two to our draft class, then we made out like bandits in 2024 plus our International Class added a couple to the top 50 Prospects for Houston

We left Aldine around early 1976 to Spring, where I actually had about 10 kids from my grade at Thompson Elementary go to school with me at Winship Elementary, so a lot of movement there. Aldine was the northern edge of Houston back then, FM 1960 had zero lights, dang I am old.

It's like how when someone is exposed to a traumatic environment for a long time they go from being green to red in a sense so in that way red is the cptsd of lightsabers

The Houston rockets haven't posted happy pride month or anything about pride month. I hate that I was a die hard fan for my entire life until this year.

Bun B. The man is UGK 4 Life, continues to shut down the Houston Rodeo...and he got those Trill Burgers.

Juicy J or Bun B?

Houston Rockets had a legendary squad. Houston Rockets were the team that won 2 three-peats with Michael Jordan and Chicago Bulls. Naturally, if Indiana Pacers {4} wins the championship, they will be the 3rd team. Well, the real question is: Can they?

Knick fans have a short memory. Knicks Playoff Highlights Since 1973 β€’ 1994: Reached the NBA Finals, lost to the Houston Rockets in seven games. β€’ 1999: Advanced to the NBA Finals as the 8th seed, lost to the San Antonio Spurs in five games.

Ive come around on Sorber some. His passing is perfect in Snyder's system. Defense is fantastic. He plays Physical & has a decent Middy. My main worry is his injury & how long i'll take for him to recover. But I can see a Steven Adams with a jumper as a high end outcome
