The CFL went through some weird years from the 90s- 2010.
Now overall the talent level is the best I’ve seen. There’s a lot of good players who could make it in the NFL.
The fact the xfl has failed 2 or three times and nobody knows what the USFL is validates the cfl imo.

These are some that came to mind by a quick scroll through my old reports and thesis. But there were some that I can't recall e.g. there was a crowd (based in CMU and UFL) that used to study effect sizes and RCTs in these contexts, but successfully managed to also aim at statisticians.
