Have some more cats! I was thoroughly immobilized by Neptune and Nessy a few mornings ago. Sometimes "after-breakfast cuddles" get really cuddly. Going back to bed after i feed them is a bad idea if i have anything important to do 😹 Hope you're feeling better

Meanwhile, this is how Neptune gets with the heat pump blasting cold air right on him. He has a thick, plushy coat quite similar to Buddy's, & he does not like being roasted. Paradoxically, he's a "super snuggler" & he doesn't understand why i don't want to be big spoon on hot nights 😹

she's such a little weirdo! the first time she did this, i almost had a heart attack! But i think she uses the floor under the bed to "cool off" just a bit. She doesn't always go or stay up there when it's that hot, so she's definitely making a choice

I have one cat who loves to roast herself in the hottest part of the attic, and another who enjoys hot weather as much as i do (i.e. NOT) All my floors are wood, so i've thought about building a tiled cooling spot for him. This is him (Neptune) with the heat pump blasting cold air 😹
