🚨🚨🚨Your BSFC feeds can now search for hidden tags, like the ones you can add to a post via @deck.blue. You just need to adjust your "Search within" toggle at the bottom of the blue search terms box on your feed dashboard. Posts which come in with hidden tags will show them in purple in Recent Posts.
Screenshot of the Search within toggle with the options of post text, alt-text, embedded link and hidden tags.
Screenshot of BSFC interface showing the yellow Recent Posts area. There's a post saying "Such a beautiful flower!" with the hidden tag "#dahlias"
Screenshot of BSFC interface where the post has been queried and it shows the post matches includes "#dahlias" which is the hidden tag. In this view we can see the post as it will be shown on Bluesky, without the hidden tag.

🚨🚨🚨 We've got a new synced list option for paid users available this morning and we think it's a pretty handy one! You can now create a synced list of users who have liked a feed. If you combine this with poster permissions, you could e.g. allow additional permissions to people who like the feed.
Screenshot of BSFC interface with a red oval and red arrow around & pointing to "My Synced Lists" in the sidebar.

🚨🚨🚨 We love that people use our service to build communities, and we know some people already crowdsource the cost of their BSFC subscription. Now feed viewers can donate direct, with no fees - you receive the whole donation. It's a shortcode for your public page- just use [donate] for the button.
Screenshot from the BSFC public page interface. It has a blue button which says "Donate to the Dahlias feed" under text saying "If you would like to support my feed and the work I do moderating it, you can donate!"
Screenshot of the dialog box which pops up if someone clicks the button. They can set the amount to donate, and leave an optional comment. The buttons at the bottom say "Cancel" and "Donate $5.00 via Stripe". There's also a note saying "100% of your donation will be credited directly to the feed owner's BSFC account. No hidden fees for you or them!"
Screenshot from inside the feed interface on BSFC on a page called Donations. There's a line showing up in a table with the payment, the comment, a reference, the time, the feed, and who it was donated by (which will show up in real life as an email address).

New feature spotlight: we added a delete these posts button to the moderation interface. If you click it, you'll get a dialog box offering to delete a given number of posts. You can do this in the Manual approval tab, and you can also search for a term and delete all the posts the search throws up.
Screenshot of BSFC moderation interface, in the recent posts area. Under the "listen for new posts" toggle is a link button that says "Delete these posts"
Screenshot of a dialog box with a red message saying "This will delete 2078 posts under the All posts tab from your Bluesky Feed Creator feed". There's a box titled confirmation, with greyed out text in it saying "DELETE 2078 POSTS" and the options to Cancel and Remove Posts.

Feature spotlight, an oldie but a goodie. Did you know that when you make a feed on Bluesky Feed Creator, you decide on your own feed path? No random string of characters needed. Make it something relevant to your feed! Of course, if you prefer the random string, feel free to put one in there too.
Screenshot of adding a new feed inside Bluesky Feed creator's main dashboard. There's a red box around the feed path area which is where you name the feed's URL as profileurl.bsky.app/FEEDPATH

New feature spotlight! A good day for BSFC news! Here's another wee feature we've released overnight: the minus operator. Use this one for terms with exceptions. Maybe you want all posts mentioning #cats as long as they don't also mention #diggers: now you can specify that with #cats - #diggers

We couldn't leave it alone, team, we're adding more-more-more synced list options! You can now put your mutuals into a list using this same process laid out in the linked tutorial. Just select "Mutual follows" on the Import list page.

New feature spotlight: custom poster permissions You can decide what your feed collects from users on an individual basis - do you want their collected posts to match your main terms, or their own terms, and what do you want to do with their posts/replies? Paid users can also do this with lists.

In this video, I've demoed the new custom poster permissions that you can find in Allowed Users and Lists. Don't forget, you can turn on auto generated subtitles if you need! Let us know if you have any questions that aren't answered in the video. youtu.be/SQkLq8MxSrs

New feature spotlight! You can now comment in your term boxes, which is great for keeping track of why things are included/excluded, or just groups of related terms. Use 2 hyphens together (--) at the start of a line to get BSFC to ignore the line. The line can wrap too, if your titles are longer.
Screenshot of exclusion terms from a feed in BSFC, where there are titles like "Yarn craft/needle craft" designating the terms below them. They are commented out using -- (2 hyphens together) at the start of a line.

New feature spotlight: you can now sort the order of posts in your feed by how many likes, replies or reposts and quotes they have. This feature works best when you have a fast moving feed, because posts which have been around longer can stick to the top. We're planning to fine tune that!

New feature spotlight: the auto moderated column We added this in as an easy way for you to keep track of which posts have had auto moderator actions done to them. Any posts where your auto moderator approves, hides, requires approval and so on, will show up in this column.

New feature spotlight: And searching! You can now search for "this + that" which would return every post mentioning "this" AND ALSO "that", regardless of where in the post they are. You could even search for "this + that + that over there + this one here" - you can include more than 2 terms.

New feature spotlight: we added some neat user permissions functions last month. Firstly, you've got the post_from: operator. This collects all posts which come from a given user. You need their whole handle after the :, along with the @. reply_to: collects replies to a given user.
Screenshot of BSFC capturing posts interface. In the inclusion terms box (search for terms or tags in posts) it says:

New feature spotlights: terms tester! We added this nifty feature to the BSFC feed dashboard, attached to each terms box under Capturing Posts. It helps you figure out, in real time, whether a given post will match your terms, and you can amend the terms from there and save them back in too.

Feature spotlight: Feed list Got a lot of feeds? See them all in one place on your main dashboard, together with indicators of whether they're active, shared, and do any posts require your approval? You can also filter your feed list to find what you're looking for, fast.
List from inside Bluesky Feed Creator saying "My Feeds x12"
There are cut off blue link texts to the left, each of which leads to a different feed. Each feed has "active" and most say "Shared with me". One has a red "1 require approval" tag and this is a clickable link which takes the user straight to the post requiring approval.

Feature spotlight: filter posts by content type! Do you want to make a feed which picks up only video, or only images? Or, would you prefer a text only feed? You can even use our toggles to collect gifs only - or exclude them entirely. All of these options are on your main feed dashboard.
Screenshot of Bluesky Feed Creator individual feed dashboard. Three toggle areas are visible:
Posts with images
Posts with GIFs
Posts with video
All three toggle areas have the options to allow, require approval for, exclude, and only capture posts with these media.
