I feel safer with my ability to manage my particular risk model without carrying than with.
Not having to worry about firearm retention means I have a wider range of options available to me.
99% of situations can be de-escalated or avoided.

Cops have ... marginally more firearms training than your average person.
What sets cops apart is that our society and our legal system allows them to shoot and kill people with complete impunity.
There's less accountability for a bad shoot by an American cop than for soldiers in war.

She’s in the hospital. Cops are looking for the driver. He’s being charged with felony hit and run and a bunch of other stuff. But the last I read they’d not found him yet.
