[ OC Lore ] Some fun lore. While these two were smokers, they both did eventually quit. For Luke, it was just interfering with his workout routine, so he substituted for other vices. As for Souleymane, he mainly quit thanks partly to being around Klay. You can say be played a big part in it! ๐Ÿ‘€

[ OC Lore ] I like to think that somewhere down the line, my mainline OCs would have their own signature guitars/basses. These would be their entry-level lineup, providing something classy for new players and collectors. From left to right it be Andre, Darius, and Josephineโ€™s respective models.

[ OC Lore ] Been slowly growing fond of the idea of Yanaha, Alondra, and Melisa being close friends. Especially since Alondra has always looked up to them as older sisters. I think I'm gonna use this trio more often for other projects.

[ OC Lore ] Just a fun detail, Andreโ€™s heritage can be traced back to Indonesia. He's a third generation immigrant and has celebrated Lunar New Year with the diaspora in Texas. But with his band constantly touring, it's been hard for him to celebrate as an adult. So Darius wanted to change that.

[ OC Lore ] While a few of my OCs are single, some are canonically paired up with other people's OCs. Despite Luke Hashimoto's rough upbringing, it felt right to give him a loving partner. Luke didn't discover his queerness till his mid-30s, but it was never too late for him to find happiness.

[ OC Lore ] As mentioned previously, with the exception of Darius, everyone in this piece doesn't have the best relationships with their bio family. So they find refuge in each other, and I'll go further in depth for each member as to why.

[ OC Lore ] It depends on the property I'm working on. But just to limit it to my OCs specifically, it's more just plant, insect, and sea (etc krill) based products. Makes it ideal to resolve the predator/prey dynamic. Also, in my world, there's little to no domesticated animals.

Talking with a friend over worldbuilding, I have to ask y'all Have you ever considered the food situation in your furry setting? If so, what solutions have you come up with? Did you take any inspiration from popular furry-adjacent media (Zootopia, Beastars, etc.)? I'm genuinely curious

[ OC Lore ] Of all my OCs, Luke Hashimoto's strained relationship with both parents is what partly informs his character in the current day. He comes to terms with not being able to fix his parents' disfunction. And works on improving his self-esteem, thanks to his newfound friends like Darius.

[ OC Lore ] Even though Darius is technically a year older, Klay could still sense the little brother energy coming from the wild dog. So, it's not uncommon for the wildebeest to treat him like any other younger sibling whenever they're together.
