Not sure what I'm more surprised about here -- that Tesla is taking some kind of action on this issue, or that it revealed the action to the press, which its leadership detests Either way, proud of my former colleagues at @bloomberg.com, esp @danahull.bsky.social! techcrunch.com/2025/09/17/t...
Canceled my Disney/Hulu bundle today. If they reverse the ABC Kimmel decision I will think about going back, though I have other ways to see “Alien Earth” (with ads unfortunately). FX is a Disney subsidiary but comes bundled with many online “cable” type services. I don’t care about ESPN

I switched to the iPad as my primary computing device nearly a year ago. I just accepted it could only do what it could do and that I'd still need a Mac. iPadOS 26 is a total paradigm shift and makes things more powerful, but it's NOT easy/intuitive. I'm doing a talk on Substack and apparently need 10 subscribers on the purely-lurker account that I have there in order to participate. If you're inclined, would you please subscribe to me? Feel free to unsubscribe in a week! Once I get 10, I will delete this pathetic ask. substack.com/@kashmirhill
First issue of Sources is out! It’s a deep dive into the (very cool) new Meta Ray-Bans. They’ve got a display, neural band that feels like sci fi, & suggest a lot about where things are headed Feat. my interview w/t Zuck (full convo airs on the Access podcast tomorrow) sources.news/p/meta-ray-b...
YouTube's messaging around AI was front-and-center at its creator event Tues. --On AI slop: We've dealt before with human-made clickbait trends. We got this. (We'll see!) --On AI displacing human creativity: AI is a tool not magic. Quill pens didn't make everyone Shakespeare etc. (We'll see!)
