Stephen Colbert just ended his final episode of The Late Show while singing "Hello, Goodbye" with Paul McCartney, his family, and the show's crew, then joined them on stage before Paul turned off the lights to the Ed Sullivan Theater, where the Beatles performed at in the 1960s.
Stephen Colbert is making his band play licensed music during his final show so CBS – who fired him – will get sued and have to pay millions "Anyone illegally using that music is gonna have to pay through the nose--" [band starts playing] "Oh no! I hope this doesn't cost CBS any money!"
New video from today shows a message in chalk outside of Stephen Colbert's final show as CBS washes it away: "Thank you Stephen, and fuck you CBS and Donald Trump." Be sure to watch Colberts final show tonight @ 1135pm EST/PST. It is scheduled to be 17 minutes longer than normal airtime.
A week after cancelling a U.S. Army deployment to Poland of 5,000 troops, Trump announced today that he's reversing course, sending an additional 5,000 troops to the country. Significant pressure was exerted by his own party, where the move was not popular.
Michael Cohen, Trump's ex-fixer, will submit a request for the "recompensation fund" Trump wants to pay out for the insurrectionists. What is Meidas Touch, who promoted Cohen for just over 4 years in their network, saying about that? Do you understand now why I don't watch those suckers anymore?
I'm pretty good about living in the moment, have been for a while but caring for someone on hospice really drives home the importance of that. I was never intending on being a caregiver but there was no one else available, so I stepped up to the plate. It's been hard but I'd do it all over again.
This is their latest lineup of videos (Meidas Touch). I mean look at this: The number of exclamation points actually shows you how silly they are. It's just banal sensationalism. They once criticized Trump for using allcaps phrasing and exclamation points. I really can't take them seriously anymore:
NATO's Secretary General Rutte: I always felt that it is strange that a very rich part of the world — Europe — needs the support of another part of the world to defend itself against the Russians to the extent that it has now, where we are overly reliant on one ally: the United States.
"Project Hail Mary" is probably one of the best Sci/Fi movies made in the last 20 years. The science is... iffy. Well, it's BS to be frank, but that's not the point of this movie. It's more deeper than that. Rocky, his friendship with Grace, all that is great storytelling. youtu.be/HU8639qxnqw
Bryan Cranston just surprised everyone at Stephen Colbert's final taping of The Late Show...and he was NOT happy when Colbert wouldn't let him be his final guest lol. (Paul McCartney was): "You know what? You can keep your stupid hat! I'm gonna go sell my ticket."
President Zelenskyy: Russia has lost over 145,000 soldiers since the beginning of 2026 According to the Ukrainian President, almost 86,000 were eliminated, and at least another 59,000 were seriously wounded. More than 800 Russian servicemen were taken prisoner.
The point to note here is: There is nearly nothing Trump can do, between now and the mid terms, to raise his ratings by the voters. So every defiance that is shown now until November might give the Repubs a bit of a push. Just a theory of mine though. apnews.com/article/todd...
To the offenders, enablers, and political grifters in the US: take note. When even someone as powerful and protected as Prince Andrew can face renewed scrutiny years later over serious allegations, don’t confuse delay with immunity. MAGA won’t be protected forever either.
#TrumpTheTyrant 🇬🇱 ‘No means no': Greenlanders protest against Trump outside new US consulate “Hundreds of Greenlanders gathered outside a new American consulate in the capital Nuuk to protest against Donald Trump's ambition for greater influence over the island. www.bbc.com/news/article...
There is no comparison between Moms for Liberty and DSA (Democratic Socialists of America) in terms of electability. DSA has won many competitive open seat primaries, and is doing better than 4 years ago with Black voters in particular. Moms for Liberty can't even win many deep red school boards!
On Science Friday today - 70 countries have banned Paraquat. The chemical is linked to Parkinson’s disease and just a sip is fatal. Still used in the US, one factory, Sipcam Agro in Waynesboro Mississippi, legally dumped a shocking 47,000 pounds into the air! 🤬 mississippitoday.org/2026/04/30/p...
If I want to go to the US right now, I would have to lay bare emails, adresses of me, my family, my social media with everything I wrote in the last 15 years. When they see that I criticize the pedo president, would they call it seditious and let me in? youtu.be/90-GwEQNyGU
Breaking: To no one's surprise, US Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard is resigning due to her husband’s serious illness. Gabbard informed Trump that she will step down on June 30, after her husband was diagnosed with an extremely rare form of bone cancer.
