This is absolutely horrific news. “Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz announced Saturday morning that state Rep. Melissa Hortman and her husband are dead, and state Sen. John Hoffman and his wife are wounded following a "politically motivated" shooting overnight.” May Sen. John Hoffman and his wife survive.
These tips don't work on Android because you can't change search settings in chrome but if you add the word "fuck" to your search keywords, you get no AI summary.. I like to add "fuck AI" to the end of all my searches. Adding the AI keyword doesn't make a difference but it makes me feel better.
Got an email from the NIH that no DEI work was detected in my grant, but I needed to change the language to be c/w their priorities. I am hopeful this means it won't get axed. I'm removing "trigger words" like "culture, historical, diverse, underserved", and it all just feels so stupid. #medsky
Very upsetting to see her not mask around vulnerable kids in a hospital. Acute Covid can be fatal for them & long Covid is now the leading chronic health condition in U.S. kids. Not to mention the Measles outbreaks Imagine how impactful it would be with her reach if she wore a respirator?
While @ncc-ccn.bsky.social works with @ottriverkeeper.bsky.social to open more areas to swim safely in Ottawa, @en.ottawa.ca announced it’s reducing water quality testing at public beaches from 7 days a week to just 1 day a week this summer. Unacceptable! Sign the petition!
I think about that POS Hegseth & every GD monster in the most corrupt administration in the history who thinks this is ok. They could learn a thing or two from this veteran. And those officers who handcuffed him, there isn’t a place in hell hot enough for you. #NoKingsHere
When I lived in LA 20 yrs ago I ran into celebs all the time and they’re usually pretty normal people but everyone always hated to see Jon Voight coming, even for something minor like checking out a purchase, cause he was always a rightwing freak who everyone hated to see or interact with in any way

Just to be clear, these court verdicts have nothing to do with scientific fact. They make money off lying about vaccines. These people are compromised. They have a personal, financial agenda against vaccines. So much for “radical transparency.” RFK Jr. himself makes most of his money the same way.
“I can tell Bell took this very seriously after last year’s difficult Grand Prix.” Tourisme Montréal's Yves Lalumière and Ritz-Carlton Montreal's Andrew Torriani talk F1 on this week's episode of the The Corner Booth. Watch: www.montrealgazette.com/news/the-cor...

As noted, minimizers hate nicknames (and love screenshotting from behind a block and reposting themselves lol). I hate being reminded that minimizers exist but people sometimes show me this stuff. It's not even worth addressing the multiple things wrong with this person's ongoing nonsense.
Tourists have flocked to Montreal for the Grand Prix — including Americans #Montreal Tourism and hospitality officials are pleasantly surprised by the Grand Prix weekend turnout, which includes a reversal of ongoing trends. www.cbc.ca/player/play/...
“A $20,000-per-year offer arrived on May 2. Then came a $10,000-per-year discount two days later… All of this left the scores of families that received similar offers scratching their heads. “It’s almost like they’ve turned into used car salesmen,” said Mr. Berger”

Off topic, sure, but one of my favourite houses, in one of Toronto’s most leafy-green, pleasant spots, 10-minute-walk to the Danforth subway, has just gone on sale. Impeccably redone top-to-bottom by architect Wanda Ely, I know for a fact it’s the easiest house to be happy in. 57ravina.com
