This is the end result of Shabana Mahmood’s nasty immigration policies… more votes for Reform and so, more racism scaring and dividing our communities. Not sure how Labour can justify this, politically or morally. It’s so far from what we’d all hoped. www.theguardian.com/politics/202...
NHS England went out of its way to tell us (www.england.nhs.uk/digitaltechn...) our data was safe. It wasn't. And we are right to worry. Palantir is deeply political. And highly unethical: it paid for a smear campaign against Good Law Project. Did they also access my medical records? My family's?
Two Reform Councillors had died before they were elected. Five have quit because they never actually wanted to be Councillors. At least four have been fired because they are vile racists. One is complaining because he thought he'd be an MP. One was completely made up Clown party
Labour doesn't represent working class interests like it traditionally did But Reform represents them even less So when Labour copies Reform, it sends a message from the "working class party" that Reform's ideas are okay So Reform wins. And the working class loses How hard is that to understand?
Could Farage be forced into a by-election? Two investigations into his undeclared £5m gift. The Electoral Commission Parliamentary Standards Commissioner If as result, he is suspended from the Commons for 10+sitting days, petition signed by 10% of constituents can trigger Recall and a by-election.
Rayner warns Starmer to change direction as Streeting preparing leadership bid. A Palace coup, another insider wants the job to do the same things. All cabinet members are tainted. Streeting tainted more than most, took money from healthcare corporations, part privatisation of the NHS.
Surge in data centres to push water bills even higher. A large data centre needs 5m gallons a day. Prospect - dryer rivers, deeper droughts, water shortages. More carbon emissions, higher electricity consumption, power blackouts as data centres get priority. archive.ph/67qAE
Voters say Labour failing on housing as a third struggle to pay rent, mortgage. It's neoliberalism. Low wages make buying home difficult. Lack of social housing - Tories sold it. UK not self-sufficient in building materials. Unchecked profiteering. Must jettison neoliberalism. archive.ph/3oht4
Great memories of working inside the Ministry of Justice doing actor roleplay work - many of my former colleagues have remained friends! Especially the time I went down to the foyer on a lunch break - and some of the staff were on strike. First time I met @uvwunion.bsky.social!
After winning the 2026 BAFTA TV Award for Leading Actress for her role as Nazanin Zaghari-Ratcliffe in Prisoner 951 Narges Rashidi says, "I was a 7 year old who survived war" "But so many children in Iran, Gaza, Ukraine, Sudan, may never get that opportunity, that chance"
Trump 2024: “I’ll fight for the forgotten American.” Trump 2026: takes $60M from 600,000 of those forgotten Americans for a gold phone that doesn’t exist, then quietly edits the website to say their deposit doesn’t guarantee a phone. Trumps only consistent policy is fleecing his own base.
From May 2025 to May 7th 2026, 74 Reform councillors resigned, been expelled, suspended or defected to other parties By-elections triggered by resignations & expulsions can cost £20,000 - £30,000 depending on ward size This comes from council budgets & is paid for by our taxes! #NeverVoteReform
Keir Starmer, "I want to remind you what Nigel Farage said about Brexit" "He said it would make us richer. Wrong. It made us poorer" "He said it would reduce migration. Wrong. Migration went through the roof" "He said it would make us more secure. Wrong again. It made us weaker"
Worker's share of UK income 1955, 71.7%. 2025, 59.7%. This includes fat-cats. Headline corporation tax rate in 1974, 52%. Now, 25%. For the last 30 yrs, UK has been at or near the bottom of the OECD league for investment in productive assets. Wealth went to shareholders, execs, capital.
Settlements in the West Bank "are a flagrant violation of international law and must cease", the Foreign Office says. So why is Israeli group Shivat Zion allowed to operate on UK territory and help Britons move to illegal settlements? 👉 www.declassifieduk.org/exposed-isra...
Even Money Week, a publication that’s long been relatively Brexit-sympathetic, is now openly asking: “Ten years of Brexit: Should Britain rejoin the EU?” They highlight the lagging markets, capital flight, weaker pound and structural 6–8% GDP hit. moneyweek.com/economy/brex...
Sorry, Keir, but why should only young people have Freedom of Movement? Why can't British adults also have the freedom to love, live, work, set up business and retire across our continent – like the half a billion citizens of the EU do? Why do your Brexit red lines stop us from doing that?
Only in the USA are staff not paid because they are waiters/waitresses, it all goes backs to when Slaves did these jobs and they didn't force businesses to properly pay them when Slavery was abolished because they didn't want to upset the rich White Owners It's time to end it
The fact Bridget Phillipson says “Trans people AND women” says it all. She sees us as a separate entity. A limbo sex. The UK is the most transphobic country in the western world. Cowardly Labour will absolutely continue the Right Wing orchestrated persecution.
Keir Starmer, "On Brexit, the reason I reminded everyone of what Nigel Farage said was because that was the promise he put to the country" "That we'd be stronger, we'd be richer, we'd have lots of money for the NHS, immigration will come down" "It all proved to be false"
Wasps are declining at a worrying rate. Fewer sightings, more nests destroyed daily as they are often considered pests. In this first of a two part series, Vanna Bartlett explains why we should view them as are our friends 👇 @eastangliabylines.co.uk @vannabartlett.bsky.social
In the US Elon Musk called Pensions and assistance to Disabled People, 'entitlements' that the US needs to get rid of. The entitlements are the billionaires ownership of Energy, 'Public' Transport, Housing, Banking, Healthcare... It shouldn't be owned by ANYONE.
What would happen if a party headed by a charismatic demagogue, at best indifferent to such constraints and at worst hostile to them, were to win power? Such people have gained power elsewhere. Indeed, we are seeing that now in the US, the most important democracy of all” www.ft.com/content/1a5a...
Euan Philipps, head of media at Labour Against Antisemitism, adopted a Jewish sounding name to file antisemitism complaints to Labour. The activities of this faux Jewish activist encapsulate the absurdity of the antisemitism hysteria under Corbyn👇 www.declassifieduk.org/how-keir-sta...
In 1946 with National debt 2.5x higher than it is now, and at a relative cost of over £1tn. Clement Attlee nationalised Steel, Rail, Energy, Healthcare, Fossil Fuel, Telecoms, Aviation... The result the greatest period of growth the UK has ever known. It can be done, and it works.
The primary cause of Keir Starmer’s utter humiliation in the local elections is the cost-of-living crisis: a crisis that has been devastating communities across the country for years, and which has been largely ignored by Westminster. open.substack.com/pub/gracebla...
The Cost of Billionaires as everyone is finding out is everything. There will be nothing for you because it's getting in the way of them being Trillionaires. You must ask if there's 'no money' why don't we take it from the 3500 people with $20,000,000,000,000.00

Unemployment hurts governments. Inflation kills them. Starmer believed that his government was the exception - and did nothing to support those struggling during the cost of living crisis. This weekend, he was punished for his hubris. graceblakeley.substack.com/p/the-cost-o...
Oh yes please, it's about time he was investigated! "The Reform leader faces two possible investigations over the undeclared gift from Christopher Harborne. A lengthy Commons suspension could lead to a recall petition – and end up costing him his Clacton sea" observer.co.uk/news/politic...
Starmer attacks Farage He said would make us richer. Wrong. It made us poorer He said would reduce migration. Wrong. Migration through the roof He said would make us more secure. Wrong. It made us weaker He took Britain for a ride & then fled the scene He’s not just a grifter, he’s a chancer
#ClimateEmergency In Antartica "intensified winds began drawing warm, saline water from the deep ocean closer to the surface. Then in 2015, intense wind mixed the deeper heat directly into the surface layer, rapidly melting sea ice" www.independent.co.uk/climate-chan...
If it weren’t for politicians/DHSC making profoundly unsafe - indeed dangerous- decisions about which companies should provide the software (eg Palantir) not to mention unsafe security (Oxford BIOBANK) I’d be all for better integration of NHS data But not as long as this is the quality of decisions
