there’s so much going on here but this is kind of giving the game of racism away that he views canadas border as an “artificially drawn line” but mexicos border must be the tightest, most brutal militarized border on the planet

I assume the Liberals will just print this up on large cards this morning and post them just outside of every polling station in the country.

Donald J. Trump & @realDonald Trump
Good luck to the Great people of Canada. Elect the man who has the strength and wisdom to cut your taxes in half, increase your military power, for free, to the highest level in the World, have your Car, Steel, Aluminum, Lumber, Energy, and all other businesses, QUADRUPLE in size, WITH ZERO TARIFFS OR TAXES, if Canada becomes the cherished 51st. State of the United States of America. No more artificially drawn line from many years ago. Look how beautiful this land mass would be. Free access with NO BORDER. ALL POSITIVES WITH NO NEGATIVES. IT WAS MEANT TO BE!
America can no longer subsidize Canada with the Hundreds of Billions of Dollars a year that we have been spending in the past. It makes no sense unless Canada is a State!

I predicted Harmeet Dhillon would destroy the DOJ's Civil Rights Division and reverse years and years of progress. "The division changed mission statements across its sections to focus less on racial discrimination and more on fighting diversity initiatives and anti-Christian bias."

Breaking news: New civil rights division chief said more than 100 attorneys have left their jobs, in many cases because they disagreed with the office’s new focus on combating anti-Christian bias, transgender athletes in women’s sports, and “woke ideology.”

#ResistanceRoots Harper Lee was born on this day in 1926 in Monroeville, Ala. Her beloved novel To Kill a Mockingbird offers a child’s-eye view of racism and class in the Deep South of the 1930s. The Pulitzer Prize-winning novel was voted “Novel of the Century” in a Library Journal poll.

I'm not a NYT editorial board member so help me out here... Is there a term for being pro states rights when the federal government actively fights racism but anti states rights when state governments actively fight racism?

Stephen Miller on Gov. J.B. Pritzker calling for mass protests: “His comments…could be construed as inciting violence…This war that Democrat governors and mayors are waging against federal law enforcement. I mean, this is nullificationist behavior. This is secessionist behavior.”

The MAGA regime has halted nearly 400 grant programs that helped crime victims, helped to better secure schools, helped human trafficking survivors and prevented hate crimes such as a program named after Emmett Till. The cruelty, hate and racism has always been the point.

Black people and women are more likely to select into public sector work partly b/c of the stability, but also (and related) b/c of stronger protections against discrimination built into public personnel policies. The massive federal cuts and instability will affect them disproportionately.

For generations of Black workers, federal government jobs have provided a path into the middle class. The Trump administration's workforce cuts are now throwing that sense of stability up in the air.

"Look what they took from you" is consistently the most deranged genre of content. "Did you know there was basically NO racism in the 1990s?" "Why can't we go back to the 1980s, before CORPORATE GREED ruined everything??" "In the 1970s, teen girls could hitchhike and be TOTALLY SAFE"

www.tiktok.com/t/ZTjhhs8fU/ White people abandoned the concepts of the Constitution once we elected a Black president. No matter the wisdom of the Founding Fathers, the sickness of racism permeates everything they did & everything that has happened since.

One of the main ways institutions defang equity programs is by renaming them something so bland that people who experience discrimination can’t figure out where to go for help. So actually, there’s already harm in Harvard renaming their DEI office.

you cant fund the government by taxing the ultra wealthy. We should soak them to curb their political power and the labor imbalances from that concentration of wealth the taxes are good for things like irs loans, large infrastructure projects, reparations etc anything that’s not a long term program

How about we tell people that they can pay lower taxes if we can just take all Elon Musk’s money

We are looking at the racism scale remaining in the Extreme zone for the rest of the week and quite likely sliding into Catastrophic by Saturday, unless Dutton loses his voice.
