During the great blackout on April 28th, 11:30 AM – approximately one hour before the event – a PV plant in Southern Spain registered an unusual pattern. The exported energy (blue line) suddenly dropped below the expected value, which typically follows the trend of the irradiance (green line). πŸ§ͺ πŸ”ŒπŸ’‘
The graph depicts the exported energy (blue line, left axis, in kWh) and irradiance (green line, right axis, in W/mΒ²) of a photovoltaic (PV) plant located in Southern Spain on the blackout day, April 28, 2025. The data is plotted against time, with measurements taken at 30-minute intervals.
