You’re so right on!
And medical is hard to build for because of Hippaa (I can never remember the number os ps and as) which is difficult to become and remain compliant for.
So it’s hard to innovate on by nimble newcomers just from a cost of entry perspective.
I’d use Linux well before Windows.

Could not find the hotspot on my phone, for example. Now, I'm sure there are various ways to do this, but the one I knew was Network Manager.

I've been enjoying it on a limited basis as there is no Linux or Android version yet. Been using it in a web browser and am really enjoying it. I feel like there is more for me to find as a dig deeper into what it has to offer.

Think microsoft cursed me, on windows there's a 60% chance it just renders a bunch of random pixels on boot, and then if I get past that launching some games will cause my PC to hard shut off with no crash log after about 10-15 minutes
but if i use any linux it's fine even on the exact same games

True, thanks for sharing this! Tbh one of my worries is that Bluesky is too much like Linux, good for power users but not accessible enough for normies.
Most folks don't want to go through the trouble of making starter packs and personal feeds to get the best experience
