My fursona timeline idk πŸ¦πŸ¦ŒπŸ¦ŒπŸ¦“
My drawing done this year of all my fursonas in order from when I joined the fandom in 2016 to most recent change last year. Starting with bandit, a raccoon with yellow eyes. Clove, who later became named Apollo, a fallow deer with green crystal antlers. Cupid, an undead deer with an arrow sticking through him. And finally current sona Dean, a zombie zebra.

I'm so glad people enjoy how I stylize deans markings. but I gotta do some detailed ones where you can see more newspaper aspects. Like he can have words/letters, even little pictures! It's supposed to be like a collage, ransom note vibe, and very freeform. I'm just lazy LOL!

Fine I'll do this one. Originally I doodled Dean in like dec 2022 as part of a band of ocs I was going to make, but I forgot about. But Aug 2023 I FINALLY fleshed out his idea. Then jan 2024 I made him my main. Soon as I decided on newspaper themed markings he hasn't changed much since haha.
My zebra fursona Deans design process and first 2 drawings. The top left sketch was done in December 2022, while the rest are all variations of the same drawing, going top left to bottom right is the progress of his design. I sturggled a lot at first because i knew i wanted a melanistic zebra but had no idea colours. When I finally worked out I wanted newspaper themed markings for his look I locked in, the ideas came fast and I solved it quickly.
My zebra fursona Dean drawn only a couple months ago, he's flipping off someone to the right. His tiny legs aren't "canon" just stylistic lol
