Got some ingredients to make toner and wondered if it was possible to tone bleach bypassed RA4 prints and what it'd look like if I tried. Just a quick test with some test prints I already had but I'll do more in-depth testing later Paper: Fuji Crystal Archive Type II #photography #filmphotography
A picture of a gray cat looking out of a window, which is split into 3 sections diagonally and down the middle. The top left section is from iron toner which has caused a blue-ish tint and greatly reduced saturation. The bottom left section is from sepia toner which is not as dark as the iron toner but still desaturated and has a red-orange tint. The bottom right is not toned and has a more neutral color balance with a bit more saturation than the sepia toner.
A picture of a gray cat laying on top of a blue blanket with white stripes. The left side of the image is divided into two sections while the right side is just one section. The right side is iron toned, which has caused a blue tint and made the blue of the blanket pop while making the cat's fur a very slight green to my eye. The top left is not toned and has a slight red-magenta hue. The bottom left is a bit more magenta tinted to my eye and is a bit brighter.

Arches, Hampi, Karnataka, India 2025 Pentax 645n, 45-85 4.5, Rollei IR 400, accidentally but successfully pulled to 100. #BelieveInFilm #Fieldwork
The beautiful recurving arches in the Lotus Magal at Hampi. Looking across the open interior space.
A simpler less ornate arched doorway in one of the watchtowers on the wall surrounding the Lotus Mahal.

Case in point about that "enough light part" (and ignoring that it's tilted and boring...) - this could've been a bit less blurry at f/1.8, but 3.5-7.8 is a bit... limiting 🫠 #believeinfilm #filmphotography #POWERZOOM #shittycamerachallenge

Been developing some rolls of film from the last few months. Here are some photos I took during the Christmas Holiday at St. Marienthal Abbey. A nice winter day with the sun already low at 3 pm. 📷 Minolta X-700 🎞️ Cinestill 800T at ISO 500 #filmphotography #analog
A low winter sun breaks over the tree tops, with the abbey down low in shade already. A dusting of snow lingers on the roof tiles of various old buildings.
A tower of the abbey photographed from below, with a bit of sunlight hitting the very top with the golden cross from the side. Close to it, the waxing moon is visible in the sky already.
A nun came out of one of the buildings, remarked the cold temperatures outside and hurried back towards a warmer place.

Clinton Hill, 2019 #BelieveInFilm #UltraMax400
Photograph of a corrugated steel fence behind some residential buildings in the Clinton Hill neighborhood of Brooklyn. The fence seems to be relatively new, since it has not accumulated any graffiti. There is an orange rubber mat hanging from the fence, which is weird, but adds some vibrant color to the scene. Some weeds sprout out in front of the fence.

Note that the rear of Brooklyn townhouses mostly aren’t visible from the street. They’re supposed to provide a private garden sanctuary for their homeowners. The only reason the rear of these buildings are visible is that Robert Moses plowed the BQE through where I’m standing, right behind this scene.
