I've been trying to take more notice of #lichens this year, they are such fascinating organisms.
This lovely lichen, a Trumpet Lichen (Cladonia fimbriata) according to #inaturalist, was growing in the Porongurup National Park in early October

Some orange jelly spot? A lovely partial veil hanging off a cap and a Lycoperdon umbrinum, Umber-brown puffball. Until a few years ago this forest was logged consistently, so there are no old trees and it is dense with little understory. Itโll take many decades to rebuild. #FungiFriends ๐๐ธ
