Reflection of glass towers in downtown Toronto 🇨🇦. #BlueSkyArtShow #Lines #blue #UrbanGaze #reflection #OfficeBuilding #Toronto #EastCoastKin
For the Blue Sky Art Show theme Lines, a colour photograph zoom view taken in downtown Toronto, of the side of a royal blue glass, high-rise office tower in downtown Toronto. The distorted, square white window frames of the building across the way are reflected in the glass, creating an interesting wavy line abstract effect.

Why do trees hate tests?🤔 Because they get stumped by the questions. 🤪 Foliage inside the Little Etobicoke Creek watershed, just off the trail. Mississauga, Ontario. #Photowalk 🚶‍♂️‍➡️ #Photography 📷 #Parks 🏞️ #Trees 🌴🌳🌲🌿🌱 #Photog4Hire 🤠🤙📿 #Nature 🦉 #ElbowsUp 💪💪🪖🍁
The foliage along Little Etobicoke Creek in Mississauga likely includes a mix of native and some non-native plants, typical of urban creek environments. Cultural meadows, for instance, may feature goldenrods, asters, and grasses like Reed Canary Grass, according to the City of Mississauga. You might also see scattered trees like Red-osier Dogwood and hawthorns.

just remembering Toronto Police hiding their badges during the G20, and then "forgetting" who was on duty that day, and then both federal and provincial, Liberal and Conservative governments agreeing to give everyone a pass, and Bill Blair is still an MP, yes I'm still angry about it

Exactly 50 years ago today, I arrived in Canada from a refugee camp. It was only five years ago that I discovered that a Toronto Star photographer had snapped a picture of me during a stopover of the flight that took my family to Montreal. digitalarchiveontario.ca/objects/2030...

Plastic pellets are an easy-to-miss source of pollution on the city’s shorelines, but a group of University of Toronto students wants the public to start paying attention.

Instead of "growth pays for growth", Toronto used a development charge-like tax on new housing construction to promise hockey equipment to a charity. The City then never delivered the equipment. www.cbc.ca/news/cana...

A yellow-bellied sapsucker this morning, drilling neat lines of holes, “sapwells” into the bark. Today I learned in some parts of Canada, ruby-throated hummingbirds rely so much on sapwells that they time their spring migration with the arrival of sapsuckers #Toronto #WorldMigratoryBirdDay
