while i agree with you should be enough bike pathways in Edmonton for ppl to get around i don't believe they need to be on every street. should be nps for someone to go a block up or down to get a bike lane if need it. citing bloor and younge st was a poor example cause not alot of rigs drive....

If you want to reduce traffic congestion, you have to reduce car traffic. Tranist and active transportation should be prioritized as widely as possible so that those who choose to drive can do so, but also so that those who choose not to are able to safely do so.

2 days agoāActive Transportationā is the term that makes the most sense. In fact, when I contacted my Edmonton city councillor to express my support for the 132ave project, in her reply she actually referred to it as that.
I see as many e-scooters as bikes on the 132ave ābike lanesā recently.
